Just finished my referee certification. 30 min tutorial on the handball laws. Penalty correct decision.
However referees being on top of this at my level a different ball game(pun intended)
They also showed clips of broadcasters running their mouths off about a decision and clearly don’t know the laws of the game. Pen all day long a good example. [Post edited 19 Aug 11:56]

I also did the madsen cam yesterday. One man cannot make or break a result granted.
Thing is we all saw his ineffectiveness at this level. A lot of us have played, watched and some even gained coaching qualifications. Rangers staff and statisticians must also know, they are football people. Something doesn’t seem right.
CN may be a modern game guru but still have fragility’s in his personality and handling things like making mistakes, financial consequences, or just not being right.
No certainties in football which a lot of State and American corporate team owners don’t like and WILL try to eradicate as soon, and as much as it’s going to be allowed. [Post edited 17 Aug 16:04]

Not Madsen bashing just observations. Players not giving him the ball and players remonstrating at him. I think today may be it for him.
I thought it looked like Dembele decided to not give him the ball before Watford broke for their 2nd. [Post edited 16 Aug 16:39]

Watched Villa Newcastle game before ours. Newcastle absolutely ridiculous how organized and disciplined they were without the ball and with a plan. Horrible to watch mind you.
In comparison we look so disjointed. Pressing as well individually rather the together for example.

Madsen in space, first touch ball under his feet, space in front, decides to play a hopeful diagonal. Gets rid of the ball and doesn’t show for the ball.

In a minority it seems about Madsen. His football iq is not at this level.
Can’t understand the criticism of Preston. They are not that bad.

Major difference is we look to go forward first then go back etc. Challenge is not enough showing in the pockets to go forward first.

Personally I think Francis does a great job with the kits every year and has a great eye for design. You also never know how many restrictions are placed on him and also has to come up with 3 new ideas every season. He’s fellow Ranger who cares about this stuff.
The colours are going to be more subjective of course. Personally it’s when the collars of a shirt aren’t kept simple it can displace the whole design.
There is a constant array of abominations turned out as kits every year by clubs. Norwich this years home looks great. Their away pink this year, anyone care to post please, shocking. |

Lovely man. Spoke to him at length at a POTY do many moons ago, 2007 maybe.We talked about that team he was involved in and it putting QPR on the map and into the giddy heights etc. Thought the club could recognize former players more to which was a familiar topic at the time and subsequently been addressed now very admirably.
