It seems to me that for the team to put in a good performance we need them all to be playing at the very top of their ability. Anything less and we flop. Better players perhaps can be a bit below their best and still be effective.
I turned the radio on just now and they were playing that lovely old song “I dream of Brownie with the light blue jeans”, and I thought, we'll get 3 points tomorrow.
On a similar note, anyone notice 'Spoons pubs always have the sparkler on its tightest setting ?
This gives a huge head and they sometimes let it stand a bit like Guinness. I find the sparkler spoils the taste of IPA style beers and masks the taste of a beer getting to the end of its barrel life.
