Looked comfortable on the ball and seemed to slot in very easily with the others around him, you couldn't tell he has only just arrived. Looks promising. |

Mbengue, Morrison, Cook, JCS, Akindileni, Field, Hayden, Smith, all can play centre half to varying standards. The first question is, if he is affordable should we sign Ronnie Edwards ? The second question is, is he a better player than the ones above if the answer is yes than in my opinion we should make every effort to sign him, if the answer is no then we should move on and forget him saying thanks for the effort he put in last season and wish him good luck for the future. I think he could have a good career as an attacking midfield player, strong in the tackle and in the air, eye for a pass and not frightened to bring the ball out. If you can improve the team by making an affordable signing it makes sense to do so. |

One simple solution our whole coaching team and heads of methodology seem to have overlooked is to move the damn ball quicker, absolutely correct. The second simple solution is to teach them the idea of actually passing to each, at least 3 of the goals against Coventry were failures to complete a pass. How many time do we see a player pass down the line only for the ball to go out for an opposition throw in. Coventry seem to find a man every time the ball left a boot, watching us trying to do the same was like watching a junior park game. If we can't do the simple stuff like passing the ball to each other we have no chance. |

If we could get him and he wanted to come, I would invest the money in Ronnie Edwards as well as improving the team instantly in a few years time in my opinion he would be worth many times what we pay for him so a very worthwhile investment of Eze funds. It looks as if the plan is buying players to sell on then Ronnie would be ideal. |

I would also like to see the return of Ronnie, I think we could use him very well as an attacking midfielder someone who could bring the ball out as well as having him here for defensive duties. |
