Very satisfying performance. We more or less had the game won in 20 minutes, and the Beckwith goal just after half time sealed it. Solihull not the worst team we've faced and you can see why they have improved recently, but they couldn't cope with our first half high press and movement. Everyone played their part, but a special mention for EEL, who has definitely improved leaps and bounds from last season following his long injury. Loved us playing in white shorts and socks which, although forced, looks so much better than black. Onto Saturday which promises to be a really stern test. They'll be itching to put last nights drubbing behind them, and hopefully, we can replicate our recent good form. Up the Dale. |

We started like a train tonight and have looked a class above Solihull. 3-0 so far just coming up to half time and could have been more. |

Not really disagreeing that there's been significant rainfall over the last few days...but I do think it could have been communicated so much better to alert people who had to travel considerable distances from both clubs. I also think we need a complete rethink on the playing surface.. it wasn't playable on many occasions last season and looks like we will face similar problems this season. This could lead us to fixture congestion and may lead us to drop points that we otherwise would have gained. |

I mentioned earlier that there was standing water towards the TDS end on Tuesday. I'm amazed that this wasn't commented on more. Uts obvious that any significant rainfall ( of which we have had quite a bit this past week) can't drain through the surface to the drains. The only solution will be a complete relaying of the whole playing surface at considerable cost, or a relocation to a new stadium To have not addressed this is stupid. We are now being ridiculed throughout the country Sadly, we are situated in the wettest large town in England, and this problem will never go away. |

Safe journey to all coming. Currently raining hard following steady drizzle all morning. It was concerning that there was what appeared to be surface water on the pitch towards the TDS end on Tuesday. I hope the rain covers have helped protect that area. If there is a postponement today, it doesn't bode well for the coming months. Up the Dale. |

I'd say Altrincham, Sutton and Braintree, plus Truro ( don't see why they can't be included) where we were under a significant amount of pressure in the second half. Add to that the Brackley experiment and I understand why some feel we could go up a gear in the second half. Of course, the very important counter to that view is to point to the league table. We have done really well in winning games when not at our best so far....something we have struggled with recently. |

Very good first half barring some misplaced passing, but a feeling that we took our foot off the gas after the break against a team who looked a class or two below us. I hope this easing off doesn't come back to bite us. Better teams than Braintree would have punished us for it. Still feel that we can do better, but overall it's been an excellent start to the campaign. |

I must confess I know little about Accountancy qualifications, but is this qualification a highly respected one or a more junior one from which you can progress. Either way; it appears that it's a severe reprimand, (as the ruling states) together with being fined a considerable sum of money and being Divested of FMAAT status for 2 years. 2 years... hmm. That rings a bell !! |

Been away much of the weekend, so have only seen the youtube highlights, but will watch it back on DAZN when I get chance. Really impressive win at a difficult place and one that we came unstuck at last time. Early days but I'd much rather be where we are now than anywhere else. Every game is important this season. I haven't had any contact from the trust. It's sad to see an organisation that has been strong for 15 years struggling recently. |

There was a big hangover from Jim's ridiculous selection on Saturday and it had a negative effect on today. We were somewhat fortunate to win despite a descent first half. I don't like you (whether you realise it or nor) thinking that you have some sort of superior viewpoint to the rest of us. Guess what? You don't. |

Please almost bullying someone who basically agrees with you. It doesn't do you any favours at all, . Sutton were scared to death but almost scraped a point. YD and no doubt are as entitled as you as you feel you are. We were lucky to win based at the second half . and it all comes down to Saturdays stupid decision from Jim. A draw would not have been unfair to them based on our our second half showing. The atmosphere around the ground was awful today,. despite our good start. |

Having slept on it, I am actually more annoyed today than I was yesterday. 54 years of supporting Dale, and I have never seen such an ill thought out decision. Yes the Carlisle choice of ends was bad, but that was one player making a decision rather than the Manager. What Jim has managed to do yesterday, which is a hard thing to do, is unite the whole fanbase against him. I don't think there is one voice coming out on any social media platform in support of what he did which speaks volumes. Despite their denial, there will be members of the Board, and probably members of the Management team who read this message board. it is to be hoped that Jim is given the biggest bollocking of his life and forced to apologise. There is really no other option. The goodwill of excellent recruitment and early season results has been wiped out in a moment of utter contempt. Only Jim can put it right with an apology to the squad and the supporters. |

Sounds like Brackley are working hard while we continue to pass pass pass. Regardless of the result, Jim needs to hold his hands up and apologise. He's already as much as admitted he got it horribly wrong by making all the changes so soon. Anything else other than admission of errors of judgement will be poor form. I'd be furious if I was the Ogdens or one of the 250 supporters who made the trip. |

An amazing number of changes to a team that must have finished the last game brimming with confidence. Hope Jim knows what he's doing. Looks a bit risky to me. |

Some really good football on show so far. Quite a gulf between the two teams in the first half. A combination of Gateshead not being as strong as a couple of seasons ago plus us being stronger. Rodney in particular playing well. |
