It’s Sunday, we’re 2-1 up against Portsmouth at 75 minutes, we need a leader on the pitch who can shout and holler at his mates, scare the sh1t out of the opposition, kick some a7se, shut up shop and win the game.

After yesterday’s game all I see is a group of ‘talented’ individuals, we don’t seem to be playing as a team which I feel is due to the transfer window.
After Watford, we’ve a two week break before the Portsmouth game. The transfer window closes on the 1st so we should have a solid and final squad of those who have remained and (hopefully) a few new faces.
I’d be looking to get these away for a warm weather week to really bond, not just on the training field but socially where they could really get to know one another. It’s a very long season and I’d like to see our team start to gel and work for one another, if they don’t then it could not only be long but also a very frustrating season. |
