What I don’t understand is why the changes weren’t made at half time like on Saturday. Clive praised that as it avoided a ‘lost’ 15 minutes. But that is what we went back to doing last night and hence we did ‘lose’ those 15 minutes. Puzzling. |

I suspect that Nardi is being coached (told) to come for more crosses because it is a weakness obvious to opposing teams. However he just doesn’t look comfortable doing it and arguably he should have ‘stayed at home’ for the cross on the goal. |

Think he might have been psyched by it. |

I’m subscribed to that service, I think via the BBC sport app. (So I get alerts etc.) Anyhow you get regular short stuff like this pre and post match provided by the guys and gals at BBC London sport. |

Yes, this is becoming progressively minimalist as his direct relevance to QPR diminishes. At sometime in the future, I will start a thread EE or just E. |

I haven’t seen it from the SB camera angle and I didn’t get a great view from SAR but that still photo looks pretty damning. Red all day in the modern game. As the ref only gave a drop ball is he going to say he didn’t see it, which would mean a retrospective ban is a possibility? In which case that would be 3 games. |

Yes. Very good today. I stayed back to applaud him off. As I have said before better players than him have had worse first seasons in English football and came good. He really seems to be getting the hang of it now. |

Have you considered exam invigilation. Won’t be for everyone and you need an enhanced DBS (aka CRB.) Most schools, in my experience, will have a contract with one of the high-street employment agencies. (Reed etc.) I won’t share my retirement story, as it will just make people jealous! |

Away fans doing their bit at Hillsborough is one thing, Wednesday fans enacting their protests to the extent of trying to get games abandoned at other grounds seems a bit disrespectful. And I’m not just saying that because it’s ‘us’. I think they have the sympathy of most other fans atm but that could easily change. [Post edited 17 Sep 17:04]

Equally good in comedic and serious roles, always the mark of a great actor. Sad news. |

Pretty much where I am. I think that we have just beaten two limited teams who created plenty against us. Charlton, I think will struggle all year. The current set up at Wrexham will also, but I expect them to remedy that either in the Jan window and / or with a change of manager. Stoke who have started well will be a step up. Win that one, then maybe we have something. |
