Off up the Silverlake with my two sons.
Southend who average 7000 for their home games so I'm expecting them to bring a 1000 down , should be a lively atmosphere. |

Tbf with Rosenior in charge of Hull last season they played the high press against us rather than Rustyball and beat us comfortably at SMS.
Probably the best performance bar Leicester I witnessed from an away team last season.
Admittedly aided by the talents of Philogene and Carvalho. |

I've no real interest in following the English clubs in the Champions league.
I'd rather watch Championship games. Mediocre standard but often fun. |

I wonder if Sean Dyche would drop back into the Championship with us.
Maybe not a popular choice due to the pragmatic footballing style but 3 promotions out of the Championship and an ability to keep a team up is well proven. |

I believe they're just train enthusiasts.
A good friend of mine was on the same train and overheard a lot of heat discussion between Aribo and ABK over their favourite narrow gauge railway routes. |

The only positive last night were our fans that attended.

With regards to the cheers for Bella Ketchop.
1. Desperation?
2.Not a great season as seasons go. Always nice to cheer something , even vaguely positive. ..maybe they forgive and forget?
3.Lots of fans on forums fuming at the manager /club for not playing him considering the performances of our defenders this season.
4.Maybe they thought he might be a little better than Aribo and Bree. (He wasnt)
5. Hopefully Downes gets the same sort of reception after he refused to play for us in recent weeks..for reasons 1, 2 and 4. |

Typical of the powers to be at Saints that we binned off Martin and brought in a manager with a completely different playing style .
Hence a squad of players unsuited to what he wants.
With the benefit hindsight we should have brought in a watered down pragmatic version of possession based football or just saw out the season with Lallana and Rusk as the writing was on the wall after the Forest home defeat where we were clearly miles off the pace . |

We left after the 3rd goal, 70 mins.
I just can't stomach anymore of this.
The players have clearly given up.
I asked my my nipper if he really wants to go to the next home match and he's happy to give it a miss. |
