Wilder unlucky to be sacked. An excellent season that just fell away at the end. That's a very negative view of Seles. His record at Reading and Hull, both basket cases, was pretty decent and he deserved a shot at a bigger club. Just speculating but maybe something wrong with the players attitude and five games is ridiculously short. We gave Gareth a fair bit longer to try and sort our mess out. Sheffield board guilty of fans level of expectancy. |

I'm sure they could still rustle up a team from any left out of squads plus development and youth etc. Just the name of the clubs is a selling point these days. |

Yes but, you currently only miss one weekend at a time. With two weeks off clubs will have less revenue and therefore worse cashflow for that period. They'll also maybe feel the need for a warm weather training camp, another cost. Clubs will be trying to organise friendlies for their non internationals. The big clubs will probably organise an extra tournament in the Far East and make even more money. Always bloody trying to justify the existence of their huge governing body organisations by tinkering with the game. Always favouring the big clubs. I agree, let's just play on. Let league one and two postpone if they have a few internationals, as they currently do. |

Charlie Austin didn't do much apart from score goals! Whilst I'm at it, anyone think some similarities between Madsen and Masson? Scarpers off to recently re- erected Anderson shelter.😬 |

It's all about opinions Gazza. Even a trained eye like Clive or Jamie will notice different things to us whilst missing some we have observed. You are studying Madsen, and picking out his good bits, whilst most others are not. I thought our defensive game was very fortunate not to concede more than one and could query some of those high marks, I won't, but those players have also made some great blocks so if that what swings it for Jamie then so be it. |

Excellent post, Nix. Let's get behind a player that is, after a difficult start last season, showing that he is gradually adapting to the Championship and integrating facets into his game that he hasn't been known for previously. We didn't buy a tough tacking, running around a lot midfielder. We bought a player with a creative skill set. Check out the excellent piece that was posted on this site last year. https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/news/62838/is-madsen-th |

If it's the Crown you might need to book a table. Hope you have a great time in 'Ol Blighty' and don't leave any good luck back in Oz. |

As you well know the police are there to uphold the law and arrest those who break it. If you disagree with the law naming certain groups as terrorist organisations, then blame the 'lawmakers'. |

Agree with that Hunter, albeit two of the strikes were well taken free kicks which would probably have been difficult to defend in any league. I think, we have accepted that signing him was a mistake and learned from it. Perhaps, we were keen to sell Kelman, and replace him with Kone, as his game is similar to Celar's whereas Kone is much more suited to the lone striker role. |

Yes, that's triggered a memory Terry, but, could it have been inside left?😁 |

From memory numpty, we just about edged games that could easily have gone the other way. This was largely due to Willock having a purple patch. It soon fell apart in the last five or six matches before Beale walked out. |

Yep, I was warned by a Reading fan too. Got to love him, though. A really infectious character and those celebrations after the game were great. |

original version in Liverpool in the sixties, was St John scores from the rebound. If you're not old enough to remember, Ian St John, Liverpool no 9. |
