Ted, if someone walks Into the Loftus Road stadium door, we'll have an evening longer injury list. |

Andy wishing you the very best of care and a speedy recovery. |

I think you are right to an extent. However, on the stream I think I saw Cook have a go at Dembele after he KD lost the ball in his own half which led to the third going in off SC. I don't think it would have helped anyone to have a go at Morgan after his mad moment. He knew it was horrendous as soon as he played the ball. Someone should have had a go at JV though, very early in the game, whilst we were attempting to play out, he repeatedly kept knocking the ball straight back to Walsh, thereby increasing the pressure on him, not to mention his nervousness. |

My impression is that SU are happy to get ND off their payroll and the loan won't be expensive and without too much restriction. |

If I remember correctly, unlike most footballers, he didn't like playing away! |

We've been continually tearing up the plan, or part of it, and starting again. Warburton getting Johansen and Austin. Beale getting to keep everyone and bring some in. Ainsworth trying to change the 'method'. Marti let go after almost two seasons of getting to know the Championship and the capabilities of the players. We really need some stability to build on. Meanwhile we try again. Just spend the Eze money wisely and spread over the three year FFP cycle. [Post edited 22 Aug 13:19]

A mixture of things really, a big step up, trying to completely change style of play, players not suited to his style, players unhappy probably a bit of an undercurrent against him. Pleased it is going so well, as he took a risk and some flak to leave Shrewsbury and take the job in Kent. |

Definitely a young player with development possibilities. He was 19 in April and can do a job in almost every position. Not signing him up risks another club spotting that potential and stealing him for next to nothing. Obviously, he still has a lot to learn and the next couple of seasons should sort out his strengths and what he is most suited to. He has been mostly a wide midfield player (winger) and has decent physicality. One poor game at RB, doesn't mean he couldn't be developed to play there. Coaching and experience should provide the positional sense that he would need, if that was going to be his position. Unlike a lot of our young players, he has some experience of men's football and doesn't easily get bullied. The difficult decision now is how best to get him minutes. If he does go on loan, I believe we need to ensure that he will be guaranteed games, he should play in one or two positions and that the club and coach he goes to are on a similar wavelength to our 'model'. |

I think I was more disappointed with Sean Goss, half a million, buy back clause for Utd, and a big pitch introduction. I can't remember one thing he gave us. At least Sincs scared defenders and gave us some excitement with his pace and physicality. Just a shame about the bit with the ⚽ |

I think everyone is a bit confused here, JS is not a fox he's a frog (sorry, couldn't resist, no offense meant to any French friends) |

Ins will probably be spread over the length of contract for FFP and accounting purposes. Outs will be shown in one (this) year. |

I actually think the injury situation is one where their may be a competitive advantage in keeping things 'in house' as much as possible. |

You should only have one boss on the bench and I mean JS. [Post edited 19 Aug 11:09]

 | Forum Reply | Anyone see the penalty Leeds got? at 11:05 19 Aug 2025
You'd get players deliberately hitting an opponent in the hope it might catch part of the arm. If the arm is by the side, it becomes how much of the ball hit the arm. We already have plenty of 'not enough for a penalty or 'the goalkeeper must be stronger' moments. We don't need more debates that take ages on VAR. I think we should go back to deliberate handball. |

I haven't seen the incident Gazza but you are oversimplifying the law. The ball hitting his arm (without him moving his hand or arm towards the ball) is not an offence. As for not wanting to be in the Premier League. It is a league for the entertainment of armchair fans. Actual fans are treated with, even more, contempt by the scheduling of matches and with the added razzamataz of VAR. Corruption with dodgy managers and transfers is, allegedly, rife, as we witnessed previously. It's only attractions are the money available to clubs, most of which is wasted, and the vastly overpaid but more talented players. I am in the same loose club as Ted and DaveB not watching live matches, only watching highlights. A choice between a season ticket at the Rrrrrs and a Sky subscription is an easy one. |
