Applauding a quality opposition goal

The opposite of this is the Sinclair overhead kick where one of the Barnsley fans is standing upto the right of the goal and berating the team, like it was stoppable.

I find this mentality so different to my own experience. When we lose I don't want to be anywhere near this site for a few days after.

It's clearly not arrogance. We have a huge amount of injuries for whatever reason - if we created more tonight then where would that leave us on Saturday. Same reason we took Burrell off, so he'd be available to play on Saturday.

It's the same argument every year.

Haven't you been paying attention to this thread, Connell. It's all vitriol flying in every direction.

So far the OP is spot-on with the score prediction.

Did someone check to see if Chloe Kelly is on the bench?

Interesting move here by Watford as they are phasing out the match day programme for a digital version:

Possibly a sign of things to come for the match day experience?

There is a report that the Stoke home game is doubt as the security firm that provide stewards is demanding money upfront (unsurprisingly).

Apparently the players have been informed that they will not be getting their July wage. The rumour is players will start to refuse to play as a consequence.

The last person to be sentenced in the British Isles. And, according to Wikipedia, the first person in the Isle of Man to be sentenced to life imprisonment:

I see that one of our defenders has the Copybet logo covered, I wonder how that will go down as the season goes on.

Also, great hit by Celar, and very unlucky to hit the post.

I didn't realize that Ruben Gnanalingam has been part of the ownership board of LAFC since 2019. If I had to guess I would say this is where the relationship comes from as Richard Reilly is involved with FC Cincinnati

You mean this RBI Solar:

https://g.co/kgs/D2A7sZS

That was sold in 2015 to Gibraltar Industries and has been around since 1932:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rough_Brothers,_Inc

He has been the president of that company since 2002, taking over from his father, Al.

He seems to be doing ok for himself.

According to this report that came out before the announcement it is a 4 year deal with option for one year extension. How accurate that is we'll never know.
