I think the one thing that would make Ronnie want to leave Southampton to come to us is if he actually wanted to play games of football rather than sitting on the bench. Plus he now knows that he’s not even first choice for them at centre-back in the Championship so it’s incredibly unlikely that he would be if they went up again this year.

I would like to think that this is true but as they already have Odegaard as their playmaker and captain I find it difficult to see how they’re going to accommodate Eze, unless it’s wide on the left instead of Martinelli.
