If we play like we did at Fulham under Rusk, combative and tight, pressing all the game, then I have the faintest of hopes that we could get something out of this game as no Villa player will want to risk injury with the CL game so close. |

You beat me to it. I was going to mention the JFK saga. People are able to see the truth but in so many cases they are unwilling to accept it. It's a fear of realising just how fecked up things are. |

Think of it this way. In my lifetime (coming up 60) there has NEVER been a prime minister or president to tax the ultra rich as they should be, NEVER! They never got for the big corporations and make them pay their fair share do they? I wonder why? Come on, think about it. It is very clear that one individual is simply the face, the figure head. He has his advisor and he also has his bosses. He will not dare to do anything to destroy the ultra rich, neither would Biden, Obama etc. So you have to ask yourself, why? Is it because they hate the rich or is it because the rich control them. No doubt you will reply still in denial. So I will just say, that's my last word on it. It is 100% fact the ultra rich have a big big say in what a leader of a large country like the USA does. Utter fact. |

Does it matter which of them is leading it all? The fast is, Jelly is right in what he says. President Trump does what he is told in many respects and the people telling him what he must do are part of this group of 3,000 billionaires. |

To be honest I am actually quite shocked that anyone would truly believe the DT or KS or anyone similar actually run their countries and make all the decisions themselves. Of course they don't. They have advisors and rules etc. For some kind of proof, surely the billionaire tax loopholes is enough, no? I mean come on, think about it. Why are these loop holes put in place and kept on in place no matter if it is republican, democrat, tory or labour? Answer: Because the people funding their party and campaigns are billionaires, so in return they get things their way. So in fact, the world is run and rules are controlled to suit the elites, not to help us. If a politician gets into power, does anyone really think he can go against these elites? |

Oddly enough, where you say it is all part of the plan...some UK financial analyst was saying a few days back that what DT is doing is genius. I cannot recall all of the why's but it was something to do with lowing the bond market so interest rates drop so he can then refinance the nation debt at a much lower rate and pump the money saved in repayments back into the US economy. Now, I can tell you I have a very limited knowledge of how these things work, so I have no clue at all if this guy was on the money or not. But all of what DT did and the results of what he did are falling into line with what this guy said would happen. |
 | Forum Reply | Probably the best team possible v Spurs at 13:33 6 Apr 2025
I hope IJ has been studying Spurs play and knows better to have pace than height. If not, I see no sense in that change or the Dibling one, unless Dibling is indeed off to Spurs so we want to show them his worth. Be interesting to see how well he plays. Edit. Also not sure why Aribo in for Downes unless Downes is injured. [Post edited 6 Apr 13:34]

I suspect you are right. Only Derby and Hull have decent enough teams and managers to perhaps haul Pompey back down a place or two. It would then need Oxford, Stoke and Cardiff to finish above them and all three of those sides this season have been consistently abject at best. How many of us want them to stay up for the Derby game and how many want them to go down so we can still be a league above them? |

Try 'Time' with Sean Bean and Stephen Graham. Quite superb I thought. |

I had a look at their run in last week and they have a lot of hard games coming up. Definitely not over yet. |

I miss the old marching band of the 70s and 80s.....i guess that is just fond memories from my youth. But it was more wholesome than the Hollywood rubbish and light shows we get now. |

Sorry, but for me that line up looks all wrong. Happy to be proven wrong after 90 minutes. But the bench looks better than that team. |

Blimey. I don't usually go so far as to hate teams/clubs. But this is a tough choice. I think I would prefer ever so slightly to see Liverpool win and keep Newcastle without a major trophy for a few more years. It might lose them their oil baron backers and send them back down a few pegs. |

SaintNick...was that 4-2 Wolves game an evening kick off? I seem to recall it was....or is the old grey memory a bit damp. |

Two things to think on. We did it with Poch after sacking Nigel Adkins, so it is not abnormal. Last season alot of people think we should have gotten shot of RM right away and got someone in with PL experience. So again, it is not abnormal to get one manager in, get promoted, then sack him for another. |

More interestingly John Eustace seems to be turning Derby around. He has such a good record in that league. We really should go for him next season to go up, then see how Rohl gets on and maybe bring him in the season after in the PL. |
