The only people who truly believe she made a mistake due to wrong advice and that it was at all her intention to do this, are staunch labour supporters. Of course, when a Tory does similar we all know what their opinion is. I would like to see Reform win an election just to see if their people would be just as bad once being in a position of power. I am pretty sure they would. I like some of what Farage says, but I cannot trust him. I just don't believe in him sadly. He is dodgy, I am quite sure of it. |

Just checked again and indeed I am correct in the main way I was alluding. You can advertise a trust but ONLY for the benefits such as controlling what a person gets. For example, some people set up trusts to stop their alcoholic son from receiving a huge lump sum and blowing it. So the trust sets it up that he will receive a monthly income. You can advertise this and other such similar benefits but you CANNOT advertise its main benefit, which is to avoid IHT in full. |

Rich in this case = footballers, pop stars, Movie stars, Big business men. Multi millionaire types. Working class in this case, Estate agent managers, Advertising consultants, you know exactly to what I am alluding. I am telling you a FACT i learnt from first hand experience, just as I am sure an estate agent will tell you that you cannot advertise a property as a massive and stunning family home. |

IN a word yes. Remember the Tory minister(s) with interests in certain PPE companies? [Post edited 4 Sep 15:53]

OK, so not as yet no. Of those 650, there will be some that are in it for the right reasons, AT THIS TIME. Trouble is, the higher up you go, the harder it becomes to resist the fruits being offered. On top of that, I believe it is likely that you will not be allowed to climb the tree unless you accept the way of things. When they get to the highest levels, yes they are all in it for themselves 100%. The thing is, they don't just earn their salary. They are all people with other business interests etc. The position they seek is only to make things better/easier for their own business and that of people they deal with, not at all for the salary. Cynical but absolutely true, of that I have no doubt. |

Yes, you can do that for your kids. It is very in depth and the vehicle has many facets to it. I do not pretend to understand it fully, I only learned about it as we were hired to help them grow their business by way of Google, IG, FB etc. The company received a letter from a government department insisting they stop! The reason given in not so many words was that it is not legally allowed to advertise a loophole/system/program, call it what you will, that benefits the people and takes money out of the tax office coffers. However, rich people, footballers, pop stars etc, are all aware of it and have one. But the working classes are not allowed to know about it. I am very close to this business still to this day. They have moved now more into Will and Trust storage facilities and legal contests etc. |

Politics, it really does bring the worst out in people dunnit. You man is bad. Yeah but yours did the same. No he didn't, it was different. Come on FFS grow up people. They all try to use the positions and get away with stuff, every last one of them. |

Trust Firm. Trust Company. If you are truly in that line you would know what a living trust is. You have said it in the next paragraph yourself. Factually, it cannot be advertised. I know this and it is my job. Government watchdog rules. One cannot advertise a scheme/program etc. that is encouraging people to avoid tax in that way. This was 9 years ago, so maybe it has changed. |

Little known fact for you here, that is quite relevant I believe. It is NOT legal for a trust firm to advertise their services and products. I know this as I know a company who set up living trusts to avoid IHT etc. I wonder why the government have made it illegal? Can you think why? |

Meanwhile you are doing that exact same thing, you are trying to justify what Rayner did. Tory supporters try to justify their team, now you are doing the same thing while deriding them for doing it. Incredible blinkered views. Now, say after me ... "they are all the bloody same" Better now? |

I find myself shocked as ever at the outright hypocrisy of some. When Tories do this sort of thing, there is no 'Looking at the facts' it is just assumed they are thieving cheating bastards, which they are. I wish people would adopt a much more neutral and clear view of this sort of thing and stop being affected by their own political bias. All of them are rotten to the core, Labour, Tories and I dare say Reform also. Why can't some people just accept this instead of rushing to defend their party people all the time? It's very childlike. |

I think there is a point that a lot of people may have missed here. Being that we have brought in people to create and people proven at this level, perhaps with them doing their job better than what we had before, the pressure will come off the midfield and defence more, as we attack and create more, forcing teams to sit back more. So all those players who we think are weak thus far this season, may now become better as they have better players around them, allowing them to do their job better. See what I mean? Downs might start scoring once he gets better service and finds his confidence. Downes in MF might start performing like he did two years back, now he has less pressure on him from the opposing team, as we hopefully dominate more. I am eternally hopeful of this scenario. |

I think the plan is that goals will be more evenly spread around the team, the way Will Still wants to play. I suspect his wingers and midfielders will weight in with more than ours did during our last promotion campaign. So, the strikers will not need to get as many as last time. Does anyone have to hand the list of all our goalscorers in the last promotion campaign? |

We are gonna be that side this season that languishes mid table ish and then does a late run to finish just short of the play offs. A bit like Millwall have done for a few seasons. We will end up on a points tally of 65 ish. Agreed (ish)? |

Draw today, which will save him I suspect. Celtic are pretty poor this season so far also. |

What has been happening at Saints is almost illogical. To have the same issues for so many years almost makes it seem that the main issue is behind the scenes. How can a club lurch from one defensive shitfest to another and from one striking shitfest to another, when you consider we have changed players, managers, coaching staff and even owners. It make no sense at all. Yes, I know we can buy the wrong players but in fact what seems to be the case to me is that we buyer players and make them shit. Something is wrong yet again, this time with Will Still. From what little I have seen so far, he has no specific tactic, no way of playing, no game plan. He seems to just set up hard to beat (which we are not), to work hard and grind something out and then hopefully to steal the points in the end by throwing on all our strikers at the same time. Sorry, but that is not tactical nous. I am not saying to get rid of him before anyone harps up. But I am saying that the signs are there of yet another manager who thinks he knows better and wants to try new cool, hippy ways of soccerball. We did the right thing this time and brought in some experienced first rate Championship players. What we need now is a normal style championship playbook. I just hope Will has one. |

This is why I said it was a game we had to win. It is clear now we will not be champions. Also, come end of season we will look back at 5 points (already) dropped against two sides that the top 2 WILL BEAT. My pre-season prediction was 9th or 10th. I believe we have to squad to do much better, but I am sorry to say at this stage I worry with Will Still we have another one who will not see/change his ways and thus we will suffer for it. |

Probably about the best we could have hoped for, yet I am still a bit perplexed why we field midgets when the plan is often seen as getting crosses into the box. Is it again a case of hoping to get to half time nil nil, then let the shackles off, make a couple of changes and steal the points? Perhaps downs on for archer if nil nil at around 60 minutes. Revert to a back four a bit later and on with stewart coming on if still nil nil. Gone 0-2 on this one. |
