80th minute sub tonight v West Ham. Nice hair complete with Alice band, very fetching. Is it me or is that place a bit of a library? |

Wenger was once challenged by some journo about professional courtesy after an altercation with an opposing manager, could have been Pardew or Ferguson, can’t recall. His dismissive response, “I have no professional courtesy.” Not required obviously. Will Still is doing ok, just needs a break. |

Stretchered off . The scar on his left leg was very noticeable and it’s not looking good for the same leg. It’s an occupational hazard. We got him fit again and he left at the first opportunity. Can’t blame him I suppose but football fans don’t think that way, tough luck. |

Always amuses me to see these narcissists who take off their shirts after scoring the goal to eclipse all previous goals scored, ever, in their minds. Surely they are aware of the consequences? Maybe they don’t care, untouchable, beyond reproach? |

Championship play off winners , season 2024-25. Never had much of a soft spot for them. No particular reason for not liking them, but watching them this evening v Nottingham Forest, I can’t help but notice how much this team has been adapted and improved. They have obviously spent wisely on good quality players in the right positions. 1-0 winners and defending for their lives for over an hour, as you would expect. Regis Debrise has been a great appointment from Lorient. Half a dozen games in and they’re sitting third on 11 points, one less than our (almost) record breaking seasonal total. How do we feel about this? I feel angry and disappointed that our ownership are so incompetent. |

He needs more time, of course, but if we are relegated should we terminate? |

The defence has been a problem since the days of Fonte and Van Dyke. A solid and stable defensive pairing, with good back ups and a goalie that takes charge of his area. Those are the fundamental from which the team is built. If you don’t concede you don’t lose. Looking forward to the day. Combine that with creative and forward looking midfielders along with hungry, mobile and predatory strikers. Now that would be something to savour, by crikey . I hope the SR big shits read this forum, they could learn a lot. |

Their reserves narrowly beat our reserves . Once again gifting them the opposition a goal. Their second was a bit marginal. Francis Benali hinted about team selection going forward. Will Still frustrated by the idiocy on the pitch. |

I posed the question a while back, what would it take for SR to feckoff. Obvious really, it will be when they stop making and start losing £££. What can we do as fans? Continue to loyally and slavishly support them (SR) through thick and thin, to the pearly gates and beyond? Or stop putting money in as I did when Rupert Lowe was leading us into administration with his buffoonery. Apart from stopping putting in money, we could be more proactive in accelerating their departure. Fans of other clubs have been far more forceful, in making their feelings known about inadequate club owners by arranging boycotts , staging demos, spontaneous public displays of dissatisfaction Saints fans are very proud, passionate , loyal and Bdeserve better. It puzzles me as to why , apparently, the majority of Saints fans , on the whole it seems ,are far too acquiescent, patient and tolerant. Easy going and happy to settle for less than the best. The whole club structure and obviously the players are not performing to the best of their ability and yet nothing seems to change. It won’t until the numbers no longer add up, it pains me to say, |

More than 70% possession and 3-0 down at 72 minutes. What on earth is going on? |

This Saint probably won’t make the audition at the pearly gates, let alone beyond 🤨 Too many sins unfortunately. |

Juan scored after 4 mins. Prompt long clearance from the goal keeper found the man in space on the right who crossed for Sabra whose header was parried but he followed up with a scissor kick from a narrow angle to finish. A striker’s goal. |

Currently watching on the telly. Goztepe v Besiktas, 3-0 . Big stadium, noisy crowd, a team on the way up it seems. Their last goal was good to watch. |
