I trust you're not having a go at me with that last comment, but that could be deemed as a cynical viewpoint or maybe a personal dig which was uncalled for The thing is we don't know what he is thinking about the club, but he is clearly showing delight at scoring an important goal for the club and 3000 odd Saints fans that made the journey to East London I'm not sure what the loan arrangements are come the end of this season for him, he may even be playing for a permanent contract with us? But no matter what, I certainly enjoyed that moment when it happened as did the other 2999 Saints fans therea |

Have just watched the goal and celebration on motd and inclined to agree with you mushinexile. You can see the jubilation in his face in scoring that goal and he wanted to celebrate that with the fans sharing our passion Whether he'll still be here next season is probably another story, or whether he wants to stay, but he won't get in the Chelsea first team |

Have to say support was brilliant, as for West Ham support............ And thoroughly deserved point which should have been 3 if Dibling had his proper shooting boots on |

Apparently he's quite keen to get out but SR will wait until we are formally a Championship side as the compensation will be cheaper! |

Exactly. How to encourage the next generation of supporters! |

I'd agree with that. It may be a PITA, but tickets for that game for the scousers would be gold dust, and you never know, we could do as we did at Maine Road all those years ago (or am I dreaming again) |

If that is the choice I think I'd go Lampard but that won't happen cos of the cost, and we are a club in turmoil with sh1t owners, Cov are a club on the up |

Can you imagine doing that nowadays and the consequences despite absolutely no harm done |
 | Forum Reply | The Next Managerial Appointment at 10:58 17 Apr 2025
Or could it be that SR have realised the errors of their ways and decide to put the club up for sale? We can only hope though there's more chance of Trump seeing the errors of his ways ..... |

Talk about a pressure pot place to go, surely Ramsdale would rather stay here than risk the wrath at MU. Ok, his agent and Bank Manager may disagree, but he would play a major part in us trying to come straight back up again |

I went to Auschwitz/Birkenau a few years ago and agree with all that has been said on here re the place and also understand why you couldn't go there, but it was one of those places you go to with apprehension for obvious reasons. Going there as a "tourist" though is probably the only way you can get there I'd guess. But just to learn more of the place first hand is really educational The first thing you see is the Nazi propaganda film showing it as a happy place to be and all is nice and rosy. Then you go round with your tour guide in small groups (well we did) to see the reality of the place However you then realise that the more people that see it the better to see the horrific things that happened and stories told by the guides must never happen again. The suitcases, the human hair, the disgarded shoes etc (all behind glass screens), bring it home And I'll be honest I did take some photos including the well known entrance gate, as well as the railway lines that brought the poor souls in, but quite rightly you are not allowed to take photos inside ato see any of those exhibits I've mentioned above. I can assure you they were not for public consumption, they were for personal reminders of what life must have been like and to appreciate how lucky we now are to live as we do nowadays and still look at them now and again for that very reason I wonder did you/anyone watch the Sam Mendes film/documentary from the other night about the Brits liberating the place - imagine the shock for those guys, who were expecting to see a hospital! Now that really did bring it all home |

But that bigger club does at least have genuine history and won multiple trophies with millions of fans around the world And that is probably the reason I also couldn't give a toss about Manchester United |

And wouldn't that be another record? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't he still on Beckhams record needing one more to break it |
