Interesting point re the ref. Could it be that being at SMS a weak ref may well "fvour" the home side? Or not wanting to show thaat he is intimidated give more to the skates? |

Does anyone know which route they will come to the ground by?
Junction 8 and Northam Bridge then down Britannia Rd by the Prince of Wales, or even Itchen Bridge and up Brit Rd? Or even down to the 271 and Millbrook Rd?
They'd get a nice welcome either way |

RIP. Died in a care home in Australia aged 75
My memories of him when I heard (read) the news just now was that he wasn't a particularly popular guy bearing in mind he almost got to the very top of the game - lost to Ali and Frazier - but wasn't too sure.

Could you imagine JV coming here. He'd certainly need to do a lot to win us lot over with the vitreol that gets thrown at him from down here. Well certainly from me, he's always come across as a nasty piece of work as well as being a nemesis for us with his goal scoring record against us!
But that would still change with a couple of goals I suppose! |
