Its like looking at the team in a mirror!

Agree with that starting 11 though (if RND is fit)

This ^^

Maybe, just maybe, he has some agency in this decision and he actually likes having a 9 to 5 Monday to Friday gig for a change.

Can’t underplay the change in coaching either, he is certainly playing deeper

Really pleased for the lad! Shows how hard it is to move country and play in the championship. Doesn’t strike me as an uber confident kind of guy and this league will hit you hard. Love watching him get stuck in and win those those duals. We know he has the vision and now he’s earning the right to play. More please :)

Agree, makes sense to play your strongest team and assess after for the next game

Hasn't this always been the case? Used to see it more with Managers having favourite journalists they would leak stories to knowing it would be written in their favour.

Puff pieces and opinions have replaced most journalism everywhere these days. Don't see it as a reason to knock the club.

One of life's mysteries for me is how Sheff Wed are so exceptionally poor with Bannon in that side. I would expect them to be sweeping all before them!

Honestly can't imagine that Stephan is losing much sleep concerning himself with Bannon. Although, maybe if PSG had had Bannon in that side Stephan would never have tasted European glory

As a viewing spectacle then you are absolutely correct! but for a fan, keeping that dream alive for one more game is priceless :)

More money for the clubs, albeit at the expense of us fans

Agree, looking to get forward each time they win the ball.

None of that side to side passing 'looking for an opening'..

Been a long time since I was paid in cash, little brown envelope with the pay, tax etc filled in by hand on the back.

Remember cashing up at the pizza place I worked in as a teenager, then dropping it off at the bank at about 1am.

I suppose the convenience of cash for the customer comes at the the cost of higher risk for the business and that's one of the reasons why it will disappear

I presume one of the nurses had to go down and fetch him when you were finished then? Bet they were well chuffed about that :D

There are apps to allow for spend limits to manage your money in the same way as you would with cash, tucking some away etc.

I think if we are talking Orwellian nightmares this is probably one at the lower end to worry about, as someone else pointed out most of our larger transactions are already digital. And I’m sure if it did come to pass, an underground economy would soon appear to handle all the transactions you don’t want to be recorded.

Given the rise of hate and anger fueled politics, plus the little problem of climate change. I reckon using contactless cards and phones is going to prove to be the least of our worries over the next few years

Decent pair of noise cancelling headphones and putting your phone on silent pretty much solves most of those

Surely its more secure as it requires you to unlock / authorise the transaction rather than simply tap. Quite like the simplicity of it, even more so using my watch which also has my season ticket on it.

"He dragged us up to a prem under Redknapp."

Not really how I remember it, but we all have opinions.

I always felt that side tried its hardest not to get promoted despite it having the highest wage bill the Championship had ever seen up to that point. Almost succeeded, as well.

Didn't we go a calendar year in the Prem without an away win, that was tough going.
