Yeah, I love having a look at oppo boards when we win. They usually have a similar mix of positive/negative/neutral-type opinions we get here before and during the game. Then, at the point of the winning (QPR) goal, pages and pages of misery, self-doubt and recrimination. It's great. Really cheers me up. |

I'm talking 2020-2023. In one period in 2021 he scored in 4 consecutive games. At the end of the day, the way Scotland are set up suits him better. I'm not saying he's incredibly talented but he's effective when people are running off him. Which rarely happened at QPR, |

Dykes has scored some fantastic goals for Scotland and has helped reverse the team's shocking form in qualifying. Happy for him. |

Nourry's communications (or lack of them) are what grates with me. Engaging a bit more would generate tons of goodwill. The club as a whole has been a bit more open this season which I appreciate. It's not nothing to do with his age for me. |

That's roughly where I'd expect QPR to be and deffo where Leicester are. I was with my Leicester mate yesterday. He's hoping for a 12 point deduction reduced to 6 on appeal. That's the very best outcome...... |

Someone on one here started the Dry Scalp one. IIRC there were three chants in total that day. The second one being "He's got perfect hair" for Julio Cesar. Too funny. |

The Beach Boys Sloop Jon B get used a lot. "You have to live here/ We get to go home" is my favourite. Or maybe "He's got a dry scalp" sung at Joe Hart when he'd just started the Head and Shoulders ad :-) |

I try and find the time to watch QPR away games. Me & the Mrs occasionally find a series we like; at the moment we're very slowly making our way through Slow Horses which is daft but watchable. And that's about it for us. Each to their own and all that but Strictly leaves me cold and Claudia Winkleman drives me insane. |

Nourry's next challenge; selling 2 x players for £10m ea. Do that and we can replicate what Cov have been doing in recent seasons. £2m ea for Sincs and Kelman is a good start. The ground's been laid, Fingers crossed. |

Well I'm downloading a hi-res copy of LTJ Bukem's album Journey Inwards so I can blast it out in the car shortly. A winning weekend is a happy weekend. |

Yeah he's been doing what his reputation suggested - being adaptable and seemingly good at squad rotation. Not that I was particularly grateful at the Oxford game. But I really cannot complain now. And the Stoke and Wrexham games showed what he can do with this squad when it all clicks. |

I've heard very similar things. If so, props to Nourry for relaxing his iron grip on that part of the set up. And also for sorting out recruitment, scouting, the dev squad etc. [Post edited 5 Oct 9:26]

My mate's a huge Cov fan and I really took the piss when Lampard took over. But, to be fair, he started delivering from day one. |

He also gets back very rapidly when he needs to - he put the afterburners on yesterday a couple of times to get back into position and get his block in. |

Many years ago I spent a fantastic week in Chicago. The week kicked off in a bar called Man vs Margerita (I was befriended by some locals and they took me there). I think that's long gone now but it looks like the Crow Bar is still there - had a bit of a mad club night in there. Also saw a lot of great music including Jimmy Smith - he was awsome. I also did a couple of blues bars. There was one with two stages in two different rooms. Great fun because you end up meeting loads of randoms every time you move room. Awesome place, great music. |
