That was a painful watch - in that with 14 corners and 24 shots against and Nardi making 8 saves in the game, crikey and a clean sheet and two quality finishes from Zan the man.
It's been a hard watch for many reasons and was cettain 89 minutes and they were finally going to bundle one in, but shock horror, a Willock assist for a cheeky dink.
Felt be was going to miss bit the boy did it again.
It's a strange game is football but this is a big big win but it has to be the platform.
So pleased for Zan Celar. It must have been dreadful for him personally and especially after the missed penalty at the weekend and I know we have all been slating him dreadfully, hold my hands up too, apart from the one poster.Lassie who found it in himself to tell everyone off when he should have been celebrating with everyone else
We.all want every single player to do well and when they don't we get upset
We.are football fans .
We are not rational beings. It's a rollercoaster but we go again on.Saturday - a draw would be nice
Have been amazed at the general lack of hate at games and such positive support which in days gone by, the crowds could turn very toxic at home and away games
it's incredible fans are still outwardly offering fantastic positive support.
The fans deserve a performance and a result.
Tonight I feel is MASSIVE
A win and all looks a great deal rosier with nearly all players back to fitness very soon too.
A loss would be disastrous.
Be interesting to see how fans react to Willock also but a very scrappy one nil to the rangers boys is all we ask...
Four defeats in a row followed by a calamitous draw from three nil in front
He is crap at managing that man and that big blond lump up front - league two link up play apparently and the old Chelsea magician in midfield lost his touch also.
Play Hi Ho Silver Lining at the start of the match and Pigbag every ten minutes of the match or play Pigbag every time the opposition fake injuries a la shithousery to preserve an away draw or win, so instead of fans being peed off during these ever increasing moments, they could have a laugh ending up in it loosening up many of our players who are more afraid of failing than in believing that they can succeed.
Actually come to think of it, this could work....
It's OK Mr Blackadder, I have a cunning plan !!!!!
Lloyd for Celar Saito for Anderson Smyth for Madsen Ashby for Dunne Santos/EDB for Morgan
All the subs with point to prove and all eager to put their case. Starting eleven need chances consistently to gain confidence do sensible to start with them.
If it's clearly not working, make changes after 45 minutes, gives impression to starters they have chances but if they not up to it, put on the better players that perform as subs so thereby keeping all the squad engaged and motivated and team set up with big W in mind.
I think many are saying Nourry out because there could be a strong probability that Cifuentes is the scapegoat, which most don't want.
It's the people that appointed a 26 year old man with no real direct footballing experience to an all powerful role, that are the ones to blame myself.
In my younger days, I could bluff interviews for jobs that I was way out of my depth for. It would have been better for my own career if I hadn't have been successful at the interviews, but more qualified and experienced staff falling for my waffle were - and they were clearly at fault and their decisions helped no one.
I don't myself personally blame Nourry. He is IMHO simply a man totally out of his depth and in a jungle he has no street wise savviness in !!!
But if someone else had been sacked for my own incompetence, can see why Nourry is getting the ire of a majority.
Tough times but not totally doom and gloom.
Do appreciate some signings have potential but reaching that level is a high risk strategy that sadly it will be the death knell for Cifuentes...
I don't see Marti being here in the new year and i think he is very aware his job is close to terminating.
It's sadly the way the mad mad world of football is.
If a new manager comes in, the chances of massive improvement will be very very slight..
The grass is hardly ever greener but this is football where common sense is never the outcome !!!!!
The way you write and reply to me suggests you could well be autistic, aspergers syndrome ie you seem to have a loose command around social niceties or you could indeed be experiencing ADHD symptoms e3xplains the way your focuses end up a tad nasty !!
Not critising yourself - they are genuine conditions and can cause difficulties for individuals. I have worked in such fields for lengthy period now.
Regards this actual discussion, if you were offered a longer term contract with higher income, if that happened to you in a scenario, you are suggesting that's bad form.
So to ask the question as you are extremely vigilant in stating your morals, from all you have said in that position you would turn it down ??
That's how your statements suggest your own higher integrity.....
No one turns down a better contract even if they think their times.are numbered.
But you would turn this down as you are a man of honour ????
If Cifuentes gets the sack, we certainly going down and the crowd will be angry and disillusioned
We are not adrift at the bottom. We have a decent manager who in my opinion even with this squad keeps us up.
We have another transfer window and we have had multiple injuries to key players.
It was a decent performance today.
It's like running a club playing scissor, paper, stone.
I personally would be massively angered if Cifuentes goes. He is an up and coming manager with a good career ahead of him. If the board and Nourry can't see that, they have lost the plot dreadfully.
Nourry although has made numerous mistakes, personally I don't blame ⁸him
It's the idiots that appointed Nourry to an all encompassing role, who are massively at fault !!
Hoos has to leave now - he said he wanted a rest - if we can get a replacement and Amit, Reuben and Reilly - ideally they all need to leave pronto. Impossible to get rid i think, as owners don't grow on trees....
Maybe Nourry could also take on the role as player coach and his outfield position would be centre forward, of course.
