If there were ever any more sequels or prequels to the Terminator, Michi could kill people with just one stare !!! |

Yes I know He was his assistant coach at a couple of teams after playing. The fantasy element of the thread was in focus here. |

Joey Barton wanders into a public house, like the hard man he is, and asks the barmaids to call him sir, as he deserves respect. They do not conform to his request, so he starts calling them abusive names and questions that they can't have any capacity to understand the needs of a male customer seeing as they are mere females. He then he starts issuing threats !! Within seconds, most of the customers and staff, beat the cr*p out of poor misunderstood Joey !! He is thrown out by all and sundry, and told to never come back !! Mr Barton is promptly issued harshly with a lifetime ban from the establishment !! Joey angrily says, he will back, whilst waving his cigar with menacing intent. However he is stopped in his tracks by "Clint Hill" deciding to kick him in the knackers yard !! Almost immediately, the entire clientele and staff within the pub, rise up, and start a spontaneous loud and raucous scream of support for what they have just witnessed !! Joey leaves with tail firmly between his legs !! Bye Joey & shut the door on your way out, be a good boy !! [Post edited 11 Feb 13:58]

Am surprised Eustace moving to a lower placed team but had forgotten the sh*t show that is the Venkys and he probably on more money and chance to add to his CV by saving Derby and moving them forwards once again. |

For last two years before this fantastic run of form, like most, when I have been walking up to grounds before the games, I have been experiencing impending doom. This hasn't been the case for the last few months, so currently it feels amazing and brilliant with all that's happened recently. Yet, there is still a few that will still moan and whinge. We have to enjoy this time, as we all know, moments in time such as these are rare following our occasionally brilliant, but often flawed football team. Keep smiling everyone. Times are definitely shining right now. C'mon you Supa Hoopsa !!!! |

This thread reminds me of the vows my old college friend who has supported Portsmouth football club for many many years. In the vows my mates' good lady uttered the words, "in sickness and in health and any troubles Portsmouth football club put us through" Amazingly after three relegations, the marriage is still going strong !!! |

It's a game, you would be very happy with a draw. A defeat would not be the end of the world as long as we bounced back against Derby. I have got the feeling Monsieur Lampard is finding his feet in management and he has got Coventry on a decent run of form and as the away side, we are underdogs. I won't say QPR to win as I don't it expect here, so it's a 3- 1 reverse for me, more for reverse psychology reasons, therefore hoping the opposite will occur !! [Post edited 10 Feb 12:50]

![](/images/avatars/9720.gif) | Forum Reply | Sinclair Armstrong at 12:36 10 Feb 2025
I not seen any posts that are against Sinclair in anyways tbf. Myself personally, he was a trier, most definitely, and was sad to see him go, but from a footballing perspective, his qualities matched up against the fee, would have taken the money myself, like QPR did. But just because my view was his all round game was never quite up to standard, just felt he did flatter to deceive when with ourselves, definitely do wish him well though, of course. He hasn't done much as yet at Bristol either, but contrary to what you are saying, I would hope for the man himself, he does get to where he wants to be in football. It's not happened as yet and may never, but obviously all players have the opportunity to improve and no one be happier for the guy than most on here, so not sure where you are getting the "We all want him to fail " ideas. Obviously when he plays ourselves, hopefully has a stinker, but any other time, all well and good for him to develop and mature as a player. At QPR, we could see the raw potential and he almost showed Les Ferdinand type potential but unfortunately it always remained at that level, he ran out of steam often and didn't present much in the ways of goals and assists either. That's not being harsh. It's fact. We definitely got a touch with the transfer fee, if correct, and like I would say nearly all on here, wish him well and hope things get better for him. But if you take that as an anti Sinclair post QPR comment, that's entirely your choice. Think that's more your interpretation as opposed to what fans wish for the guy. [Post edited 10 Feb 12:41]

Celar possibly is wasted dosh spent. Agree. However can't say Sinclairs running about with serious lack of control and composure was ever going to improve. Both Kolli and Lloyd are already performing at a level of effectiveness ahead of Sinclair and had we kept Armstrong, one or both of these young men would have found their pathways blocked by a county level one hundred metre sprinter. |

Could one day manage here, I would suggest. If we had appointed him after Warburton, the Beale-Critchley-Ainsworth Triumvirate could have been avoided and we could have appointed Marti after Eustace got poached from ourselves. We will never know !! |

If Liverpool were drawn away to Man Utd or Arsenal, would they have put out the side they did today ??? I don't think so, they would not want a rival or a familiar foe to get one over on them. The competition is irrelevant. It's the opposition that would determine their team selection. Total joke tbh... |
![](/images/avatars/9720.gif) | Forum Reply | Sinclair Armstrong at 22:28 9 Feb 2025
Yes had read on here, am guessing, that we wanted to keep Sinclair. Our decision therefore was flawed and in a round about way, this worked out for us. Can't see any possibilities of Sinclair ever getting above the level of inconsistencies he has performed at, ever since he began first team football. I had high hopes at the very beginning but clearly never likely to hit the heights. 2 million in the bank. Job done here. |

A colleague is a season ticket holder for Plymouth despite living here. He was expecting Salah et al. If it was me, I would have been so peed off, with Liverpools teamsheet. Plymouth would have been favourites. But can't really say they beat Liverpool. But the level of respect, Liverpool have shown this competition today should be punished and not allowed. It's a competition dreadfully tarnished. But of course the FA allow this because they are pathetically weak !! Anyhow my Plymouth supporting colleague thinks they will definitely stay up, however he believed Rooney was a decent appointment.. [Post edited 9 Feb 22:09]

Watched it in local rugby club with a mate. He burst into tears at the end. He was so emotional. That was what you might call a BLOCKBUSTER of a GAME !! Outrageous end as well. Was certainly a fine replacement considering its a QPR free weekend.. |

I like the look of this Brian. I used to collect all the programmes I bought every game as a kid but in a moment of madness got rid of the lot as a young adult. Never buy the programmes now, what with the world wide Web and news on tap and the fact programmes are ridiculously pricey now too. Collected a few panini albums and remember having my QPR subbeteo team, but blow football was more my thing. I should imagine there is a lot on sale that would appeal to a few. Sounds like an interesting event... |

He was Bosh absolutely. Wasn't expecting him to perform so highly. Most definitely more than just a goal threat. Very intelligent player on today's match. |
![](/images/avatars/9720.gif) | Forum Reply | Charlie Kelman’s Leyton Orient at 14:24 8 Feb 2025
It's easy from our views of seeing Charlie Kelman in a Rangers shirt to write home off as League One Standard. He has seemed to have done well in terms of goals and assists for Orient. My first time watching him this season, did a very decent job for the O's, and looked a threat and obviously up against a top quality defence. Having seen him play today, and with his stats also, i would hope we offer him, a one year contract with the option for a other year extension. If he performs, brilliant and if he doesn't perform, based on this seasons evidence, it would not be too difficult to get him a decent league one loan again, so would not require a massive risk to keep him on. Well done Charlie. Was impressed today. [Post edited 8 Feb 14:26]
