Madsen on today's draw

The guy sees a picture of what he is going to do before he receives the ball. Great asset.

Morrison Goal Line Clearance Thread

A good debate. Personally I think Morrison is superb. I would have given him MOM on Sat. IHe has the reassuring knack of being in the right place at the right time. His positioning is generally excellent.

A potted history, Stoke in the mud edition QPR vs Stoke City Match Thread

Important to remember three of our players were plying their trade in the division below last season. Thought we competed really well but lacked a bit of cohesion when the ball was in their half. Commitment is good.

How did Madsen play yesterday?
at 14:48 14 Sep 2025

All players have different strengths. He is our most creative passer of the ball and has the vision that many do not. The fact that nearly everyone says that he has improved should cut him some slack. I think because of his creativity he will be a vital cog in this team going forward.

That is absolute class. Something stirring at the heart of the club.

I would probably quite unfairly not take Pope to Australia. I just don't think the bloke has the minerals for a hard fought and hostile series. Never seems to score runs in adversity like Thorpe or Stokes or many others. Don't know enough about county cricket but would like to give someone else given a chance.

The box-to-box 8

Absolutely this. I too played centre midfield and when younger was box to box. As I got older became more intelligent and ran less. Always felt that positioning was instinctive and really enjoyed losing myself in games and just being. Good in air, good passer, loved a tackle but very slow which stopped me playing higher. When I look back on centre mids at QPR loved Wilkons Langley, Quashie, Derry. Really thought Langley had it all but career never seem to truly take off. As was said while your body let's you get out there and play at any level. You will miss it when you can't. I really do.

I was at the game. An excellent free kick but today was a masterclass of defensive midfield play. He is incredibly neat and tidy on the ball and never gives it away. A big reason why Hampton and Richmond are ridiculously out performing this season. 3-2 win against Ebbsfleet. Full timers. We train Tuesday and Thursday evening!

Yes, Mbengue had a mad twenty minutes in the second half. Taiwo came to mind. Reckless and out of position. Very lovable though. His commitment is great. Have to say thought Burell was superb when he came on. Pace, spirit and ability. Love it.

Fimal league position: Revised because we have been even more QPR than usual.

9th

But I have a sneaky suspicion we will make play offs. Why? Because it is what we do. Lurch from one lurch to another.

Thank you. Layed up with a bad knee injury. This sounds up my street. Agree about Annika. Watched two films recently. Flight risk which was silly but entertaining and the order with jude law about white supremacists in the 1980's. Based on truth. Didn't really grab me but stayed till the end. Quite topical considering the polarised world we now live in.

Where in the world? Non QPR
at 10:19 23 Aug 2025

Fascinating replies. Lived in Chippendale Sydney for a year and worked in a warehouse in Warringah Mall. Amazing city loved the northern shores. Lived in Cowley, Oxford for a year when training to be a teacher. Loved it and the surrounds of Oxford have always appealled to me. Spent a month travelling in New Zealand and is hands down my favourite country. Would really love to live there.
Spent first 25 years of life in Boscombe Rd Shep Bush. Miss the vibrancy.

It is one reason why I joined Hampton Hill Cricket club. Have a pint sometimes during but mostly after playing, watching the deer amble by.
Pubs in Sunbury look nice.

Where in the world? Non QPR
at 07:26 22 Aug 2025

It is always a lift to here from QPR fans from around the world. And recently I have been thinking about whether I will stay living in this house and this area for the foreseeable future. As such can you record the area you live in and what you like about it. In the interests of positivity three positives one negative. Start with the negative.

Hampton:London:England

Dislike: In over 10 years not found a pub that I particularly like.
LLike: Access to great open spaces (Bushyy Park, Richmond, River Thames. Safe place to bring up children. Close to M3 so can get out of London quickly.

I mean you can use this footage to fit any narrative. If they were all joking around people would say we only have one point why are they not taking it seriously. It is their job. They are at work. Looked focused to me. Also if there was high intensity wouldn't injuries be more likely.

Le Shrugs thoughts post Plymouth stuffing.
at 02:42 13 Aug 2025

I have only been supporting this club for 49 years so this may be why I am not at all angry, offended, disappointed or disgusted. In fact I enjoyed watching our youngsters give it a go. It was fascinating to glimpse into the future and see who looked like they may be able to step up. I always want to see QPR win but as you will know even with a fully fit and firing squad we often lose like we did today.

People that went to Plymouth tonight - What was the general feelings re the team
at 02:29 13 Aug 2025

They closed the bleeding M4 so just back. Support was good throughout if a bit quiet after the sucker punches after half time. Plymouth dominated the game and deserved to win. All fans around me supportive of team and didn't hear any dissent. In fact many stayed to clap the youngsters off. To focus on the positives the two centre backs looked good especially the guy from South Africa. I can see him playing at the highest level in the future. Vale good and really liked what Burrel brings to the team. Nardi outstanding and must surely start on Sat. He was the most passionate player on the pitch as well. Fair play to them all and all the fans and the workforce working in the middle of the M4 as we speak.
