I have only been supporting this club for 49 years so this may be why I am not at all angry, offended, disappointed or disgusted. In fact I enjoyed watching our youngsters give it a go. It was fascinating to glimpse into the future and see who looked like they may be able to step up. I always want to see QPR win but as you will know even with a fully fit and firing squad we often lose like we did today. |
 | Forum Reply | People that went to Plymouth tonight - What was the general feelings re the team at 02:29 13 Aug 2025
They closed the bleeding M4 so just back. Support was good throughout if a bit quiet after the sucker punches after half time. Plymouth dominated the game and deserved to win. All fans around me supportive of team and didn't hear any dissent. In fact many stayed to clap the youngsters off. To focus on the positives the two centre backs looked good especially the guy from South Africa. I can see him playing at the highest level in the future. Vale good and really liked what Burrel brings to the team. Nardi outstanding and must surely start on Sat. He was the most passionate player on the pitch as well. Fair play to them all and all the fans and the workforce working in the middle of the M4 as we speak. |

Yes pricey but we played twilight which was much more reasonable. Have done Trevose in the winter, which I prefer and is reasonable off season. Yet to do the lunar landscape of Perranporth Anyway back on topic with some more ITK ground level reporting. The team bus left the grounds at 5.42. I can report that the windows were blacked out so don't know who had their full kit on. Heading there shortly. |

This may go against the prevalent thinking but I am quite excited by seeing some of our youth given a go. I am attending and want us to win. I also went last year and we drew 1-1 and were pretty poor throughout. I live in hope. |

Some Useless ITK info. Me and my son are staying at the same hotel as the QPR players. I was playing the 18th at the golf course on site and could see in the distance 4 or five blokes in tracksuits on the balconies of the hotel overlooking the the green. The approach shot is over water so an already tricky shot is made worse by me knowing that I now had an audience. I hit it clean it arcs beautifully into the air and headed towards the green before inevitably dive bombing straight into the water. It was only when I got close that I saw they were all wearing QPR tracksuits. Bennie and others were there. I shouted up and asked what the team was for tomorrow. They said they didn't yet know. Rarely has this site been blessed with such on the ground inside info. Will keep you informed if I hear anything more. |

Thank god somebody else has the Wardley seared to their brain. I thought it was just fever dream. Plucked from non league. Completely non league apart from a ridiculous ability to score goals. Mini legend. |

Blimey O Reilly. The article is about the parent company!! Faceless, untraceable dreamweavers. What could possibly go wrong? important caveat: I am totally and utterly clueless on block chain cryptology or whatever it is. |
 | Forum Reply | Bannister & Byrne at 22:23 24 Jul 2025
Now we are talking. Absolute legends to me. John Byrne probably my favourite ever player. Very skilful. Who can forget when he skipped past 33 Chelsea players in the astral asto pitch and slotted home in our 6-0 thrashing of the scum. Bannister was super clinical but Byrne had the flair. I remember Byrne being injured for a few games coming on as sub Tapping in from roughly three inches and shouting 'I'm back' to the loft. Happy, happy days. |
 | Forum Reply | The QPR summer managers rumours thread at 11:53 7 Jun 2025
I'm not to keen on Nourry and his allegedly despotic ways but I do wonder if you take him and his age and his data and everything else out of it, are we now heading for a more sustainable future. The problem will be it will not be short term success and it will be easy to criticise but building from the development team slowly integrating into the first team may result in a very young vibrant team in two to three years time. It looks like a strength of the club may be the coaching and development of these players and we need to lean on that. Problem is a manager any manager will not be given 2/3 years. |

I have got to the ripe old age of 53 and completely gone off lager. Now, I am not looking to join CAMRHA and grow a beard but as a late adopter I struggle when looking at the beers and invariably go for the highest percentage. Old habits and all that. I quite like Fullers ESB what others should I be trying? Few Fullers and Young's pubs in my work and home vicinity. Richmond and Hampton respectively. |

I am basing this on the fact that I have seen you Hunter and Jim in the flesh and you are younger. Not very scientific I will agree!!I have never knowingly seen anyone else. Whatever. The youngsters can have their twitter as long as we can come on here and pontificate in peace. Well, relative peace |

That made me smile. Good on the youngsters for making an effort. It also made me wonder about the age demographic of this forum. I'm 53 and imagining this may be about the average. |

I think Varane will become this type player. Not sure he knows how good he is yet. Has all the attributes. |

Great news. Good player with a lot of potential Seems to like it here Loved his response at full time whistle against Oxford Will score more goals next season Will play in the premiership at some point. Saleable asset At times reminds me of peak Diakite What's not to like? |

I also listen to podcasts and can highly recommend Fotun Adebeyo and Tim Vickery world football show on BBC sounds. About three hours of chat. Often sounds like Dotun had been partaking in the wine but Tim is always superb. If I really can't sleep I listen to that most boring gold podcast regarding technique and mentality. On that note I highly recommend the chipping forecast on Spotify. Andrew Cotteral and Eddie Pepperel. Ostensibly about golf but many interesting and humorous musings. Apologise to all involved in the spelling of these names. |
