I'm really intrigued to see as we start the season after about 10 games what players will step up to be classed as '1st team starters' Dembele and Poku vying for the same spot or will one of them play off a striker. I always felt one up front didn't work for us as we didn't have players with the athleticism to run beyond the striker. I feel we are starting to get that now. I liked Kelmans movement yesterday and he seems quite the unit now. Chair Dembele and Poku is quite an exciting proposition and that doesn't even include Vale who looks a proper footballer. From what I saw yesterday, playing him as a left back as some thought might be the case, would be a waste of his talents |

Whats going on. No signings or contract extensions for at least 24 hours. I know there is still a lot of time but had anyone heard any more murmurs out potential signings coming in? I wonder if any more transfers in now depend on a certain person moving on from Palace |

This has just been announced. Going to be given a proper run out after what was apparently a good loan at Dundee or back up to someone else? |

Personally think he should have been kept on and given time with the senior side. Why we've suddenly decided now we have to win the world Cup which means any manager isn't looking to develop the team or players within the whole system |

I'm looking at this signing and the guy from Reading as players expected to start in the first team. I do wonder about the aussie right back too. With that in mind it does make me wonder how we start the season. Dunne at right back still, JCS and one other. Is Vale staring at left back? Poku, Dembele and chair behind a striker? All very interesting and a few nice possibilities and combinations |

I liked Saito but he lacked genuine pace. He was quick over 10 yards and sharp but I believe Poku is genuinely quick and powerful |

Yeah. I don't bother with the replies. If he says it's fine, I don't need to read anymore. So what will be the tease from the club. Hokey pokey music or something lol |

According to this guy. He is normally spot on. He is more than an ITK |

With the players being signed and the new manager liking 2 up top. I could see us playing 3412. Mbengue, Dunne, JCS New Aussie, Varanne, Field, one other (maybe Esquerdinha) Chair Frey and Kelman If Poku arrives then ignore all that lol Read earlier somewhere that Fox and Colback will be gone. Despite that, we should have plenty of players to pick from in the match day squad. That team doesn't even include Cook. Not sure where he is at with his recovery and if that issue can come back at any time. I also think that maybe the club wouldn't have signed him up again if they weren't obliged to due to the stipulations in his contract, which I think a few have mentioned on here |

No first interview yet. Normally the club are quick with these. I was wondering how good his English is, does anyone know? Also I know Marti has technically been gone for a couple of months but officially 24 hours but with the whole way it happened, it did leave a bad taste with the way the club teased the appointment. Would have preferred they just announced it |
 | Forum Reply | Marti Officially Gone at 21:04 24 Jun 2025
I wasn't sure if it had been mentioned elsewhere and didn't want to start a new thread. With our first pre season game (behind closed doors) against Stevenage on 5th July, has it actually been announced when the players return for pre season? Sorry is this is a Spackman |
 | Forum Reply | Marti Officially Gone at 20:53 24 Jun 2025
I think this might be a legal thing or part of the agreement between the club and Marti. Let's say maybe both parties are to blame and Marti did go look elsewhere. He might nit want that in the public domain. I reckon though more just a case agreed between all parties and not just a club decision |

The wife and I cancelled sky TV and our broadband with them. Got a firestick and iptv. Now the iptv costs me in a year slightly less a year than a month did with sky and I have it as multi room. Every single channek you can think off. Pretty much every box set going and access to Netflix and other streaming services. So canceled them too. Saving at least £1700 a year |

There is also a good website called sharecostnow It is a subscription-based service. They take advantage of products that offer a family-based subscription offer. Basically, they sign you up to a subscription with other people, so you get huge discounts. I think the other day they were selling MS365 personal for a year at around £20. Always adding to the products |

Lots of great little hacks out there to save/make money. I over the last year have got into matched betting through a company called outplayed. Also, handy app called EverUp. It allows you to buy gift vouchers for online stores and also physical stores. You get a varying level of cashback when you use them. I use it with Tesco and the weekly shop. Just before you get to the till, buy a gift card online. You get about 4-5% back. It then stays in your EverUp account until you choose to either withdraw it or use it for other vouchers |
