Earlier I was going to say he needs to play alongside a ojayer with a bit more pace like Edwards. However he did well with Cook but I think that is because he was coached well during the game with Cook. I do see Morrison as the long term replacement for Cook though and with better distribution [Post edited 6 Apr 18:26]

Let me guess the troll wants high levels or detail and insight from a player, just a short time after the game. When most of it is still a blur and the players need to sit and take stock. Surprised we didn't get the usual 'not really difficult questions being asked blah blah blah' and then everyone once again having to point out that it's a club media channel. |

Two poor teams play bad football. Hopefully as players come back the last few games will be bearable
I'm guessing also judging by the replies (I now have the troll on ignore) he is telling everyone how wrong Marti was and how bad he is without saying how things should be done differently. So easy to criticise in hindsight. Then having a go at people for all the very things they do. Total lack of self awareness again. I'll be called names and told how stupid I am but which one poster has the most combative responses on here. So many people but one common denominator.... Oh well. Try to have a great evening everyone and hopefully the season will be over soon. Here's hoping for 16th |

I was reading an interview with him the other day. Not sure when it was originally done, but Shrewsbury had only scored one goal in six games and that was a penalty. He was going on about how he won't accept the defending at set plays and hopes players are having along hard look at themselves in the mirror. Saying to themselves they need to do better and hope they are ready to go again and fight. He is ready to fight, he always is blah blah blah
I came away from reading it being annoyed as it was the same old crap we heard from him. It seems as though he just can't evolve and just comes across as very naive. Before today's reports of him doing a runner, I always thought the integrity he showed and basic principles of working hard and being honest were very admirable. However, expecting those same things from modern footballers is a bit far-fetched with a lot of them. Now I know he might have crazy ideas about team bonding and group exercises (to build a culture) but he must realise that he is only get a buy in if he is getting results.
