 | Forum Reply | Where in the world? Non QPR at 23:36 22 Aug 2025
Whangaparaoa, Auckland, New Zealand. Been here since 2012. Was in Guernsey, Channel Islands before NZ, Cornwall, England before Guernsey. Pros. 1. Ranked one of the safest countries in the world. 2. Weather over the course of a year is much better than what I remember from the UK. 3. A much better work to live quality of life. Cons. 1. I miss Europe being on my doorstep. 2. Can hide away when I'm QPR'd. 😂 |

Are we at least beating the first man at corners now? |

Man Utd. It was only because I genuinely loved watching Peter Schmeichel. But those Hoops lead by Wilkins and Ferdinand with Bards and Wilson won me over. Man to have full backs like those today eh? |

Got high hopes for him this season. Defensively suspect (which he really needs to work on) but he's still the one I'm most excited about. The fact he played such fewer games than Paul Symth (not hating on Paul at all) but had a better goal and assist ratio speaks volumes. He's had a real good pre season and looks set to hit the ground running. Just don't get injured! 😬 |
 | Forum Reply | Cold showers (non QPR, maybe) at 08:50 23 Jul 2025
Like anything you do you build up a tolerance to it. 4 degrees here in New Zealand this morning. I have an outdoor shower at my place as we are close to the beach. I wake up and go outside and cold shower. Im in it for around 2-5 mins. No build up from hot to cold just get my feet, thigh then whole body goes in. The feeling after I'm finished is magic. I'm not a morning person in the slightest but it really does the trick. Good dopamine hit that can last up to half a day. Would love an ice bath one day. So it's a yes from me. |

What a wonderful write up Stu. I really wish I had even 10% of what you had with your dad and mine is still alive. Makes me so happy that there are friends out there who experience what a proper father and son relationship should be like. God bless him and I'm sure he's smiling down so proud of the man you are. Big loves mate! ❤️ |

Winter Solstice here in New Zealand. Cold, dark and celebrated Yule with burning a Yule Log with friends and good food and booze! |

All depends if we can play to his strengths and fits in with whatever style we are playing. Definitely worth keeping in my opinion, every player develops at different ages. Look at Vardy, 27 and went on to have a fantastic career. We'd definitely would have a thread saying we should look to buy if he wasn't our player. He is, let's see what he can do. Unless we get a ridiculously high offer for him. |

QPR are like an elderly relative that has a rare disease. They go on living life barely treading water and then boom out of nowhere the onset becomes near fatal. And you say you yourself "it's happening far too often nowadays. Is it finally time to pull the plug on it all?" Let it die in peace! More dark days ahead fellas and fellaets! Strap In! It's going to get freaking UGLY! MAKE IT STOP, PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!!!!! |
 | Forum Reply | QPR trounced in final home game as Burnley run riot - Report at 08:30 28 Apr 2025
I've always maintained a good distant relationship with QPR and my life in general, and have been able to not let this absolute basket case of a club get to me outside of the sport. That however has changed slightly after this season. I was gutted when Warbs was dismissed. Like Marti, Warbs had his faults but was always professional and brought that attitude to the club and tried to turn the poisonous tide around but ultimately it's so far gone that it's like a sewer like toxic goo that we get left to fester on! It's QPR, blah blah blah! It's what we do. It's now been so long since we had any form of success but even that was poisoned by Redknapp and previously Faurlin Gate! All I want is a stable club that occasionally punches above its weight, not an utter circus with egos too strong to be humbled. A forever poisoned chalice! Utterly utterly QPR'd! |

I wonder if Christian will appointment Ben Williams as head coach and allow him to continue to work the job remotely so between the two of them as close mates can try and work as many roles at QPR as they can!!!! 😂 Wouldn't surprise me! In a more serious note I'm very much over this club now. Starting to get that numb feeling like it don't matter what happens anymore. Nurse!!!!! |

I'm not keen on him at all and I fundamentally don't know why. Just doesn't seem to fit in. He's helped when needed but I wouldn't be signing him at the end of the season if offered. |

His Japanese ways and attitude is so so infectious. Love him to bits and so delighted for him. His attitude hasn't wavered at all even when things were tough earlier on in the season. Absolutely delighted for him! |
