I don’t think any of us have blind faith - he’s a full international. Any player can look bad playing under the likes of Williams and in front of reverse gear Grimes. He’s shown his finishing ability and his class and if anyone can get the best out of him it’s Sheehan. . I’m not going to say anymore apart from I truly hope he smashes the league this coming season and makes a few “supporters“ eat a large portion of humble pie. |

People go on about McBurnie but I’d honestly much rather Connor Roberts back. Would give us serious options in our style of play and his all energy style would suit Sheehan . With the remainder buy another LB and possibly a back up RB and we’d look strong |

Agreed Geoff- the heat was stifling the wind was quite strong so not the best for a good game of football. Galbraith, Burgess and the young very tall CB did very well. Also Santos was very composed and Wales put himself about too |

He truly is a massive helmet. Been obsessed with us for years. Thinks all the new ownership group are trying to make a quick buck then leave us high and dry. Such envy and bitterness is psychologically self harming. |

I think Widdell will be a game changer , simply because he can run past players with the ball. We haven’t had one of those in midfield for quite a while. Saying that I’d love O Brien back as we’d almost be unassailable in MF |

I disagree - at the top level of the international game women’s football is extremely enjoyable to watch. It reminds me of the days of Stan Bowles and Rodney Marsh, Le Tissier days when individual skill was on display. Nowadays a lot of managers in the
Men’s game send them out not to lose and to play like robots. Thankfully the last women’s euros in particular and WC showed a real sense of individual style. We just can’t put the Welsh women in that bracket as in terms of skill and conditioning they are years behind. |
