Apparently Cardiff fans have been trolling them. A bit like being taken the pee out of for having a cracked window by someone whose house is on fire |

I wonder if he really wanted the captaincy and feels snubbed over that? Ben is doing a great job but I think Darling would have been an excellent leader too. |

He’s good and he fits well in the side but to say he’s the be and end all is a bit silly. I agree with the train of thought of get another one in and see if that changes/makes up his mind. |

They would have loved his borderline personality disorder lol . Perfect for Williams no 2 |

With his brother already here and Modric ringing him perhaps it may just happen |

To be fair the worst of his negativity came when playing alongside Grimes. Like the old shop floor mentality - “the management think the sun shines out of Matty’s arse and he does piss all so I’ll do the same”. Especially an easy trap to fall into when two nylon trousers insisted the team play along the back 90% of the game. He’s looked much better since both Grimes and Williams left.

With a more forward thinking mindset I think both Tymon and Key will thrive. With the new players coming in I think we have cause for serious optimism. |

It was proven at the time we needed at least 3-5 k extra because we were selling out every week. If we manage to secure big investment that should be our aim - grow the club by expanding the ground. If we managed to get promoted there would be even more interest from the East of Wales and Valleys especially since Cardiff’s relegation toleague one. Strike while the iron’s hot ! |

If we come within a sniff of the PL next season the same accusations will be thrown around - club has no ambition blah blah blah. However if we expend to 30 k we’d fill the ground for almost every game of the season - season ticket sales would go through the roof and if we get relegated we can then put on kids for a quid/fiver whatever and pay on the day. There is no downside to expanding the ground . Maybe cheap ST’s too We had rubbish crowds this year because we played the most boring frustrating football I’ve seen us play. One hint of positivity with Sheehans excellent work brining exciting football and everyone wants to be a part of it again. |

Tymon has surpassed Bidwell as an attacking force. He’s been excellent for us this season and I hope he does even better for the next |

But they had the planning done and all that. Why impossible? In my honest opinion it’s imperative we keep on growing and getting more and more lifelong fans on board. |

This has got me dribbling proper lol. What a player we could have on our hands! |
 | Forum Reply | STADIUM EXPANSION at 21:52 5 May 2025
I agree success helps but we definitely could have had 30k for some (if not most) of our PL games because the interest was definitely there. If we’d had that capacity then with the right product and pricing (we could be a lot more flexible with family tickets for example and pay on the day) we could average over 21,000 even in the Championship. The club had a seven year stay in the top flight , won the League Cup and played well in Europe. It’s been done recently , people have witnessed it so it’s not like we were going into the PL with relegation a likely outcome. We’ve done better and there’s still more to come I’m sure . |

For a minute I thought Milleskog must have had a banging season and Bayern were after him. Thanks for the clarification- I feel even more optimistic now! |

Just goes to show how great a coup the club have pulled off here. It’s like waking up again when Huw was snow white and couldn’t put a foot wrong a Laudrup was the pull for the great players who joined us. The last 6 or so years a bad dream but all of a sudden it’s like we really do have some excellent new people at the football club and the future is extremely bright indeed. How exciting |

The idea though is the correct one. I think it’s imperative that we get to 30k because once we do get back to the premier we then capture those extra fans. When we go back down we could then hopefully average 18 - 22k . We used to max out in the vetch with 10k - we’ve come this far so I think it’s time for the next step. |

I overheard some of their fans saying that our ground isn’t at all intimidating . I didn’t have the heart to point out they weren’t considered as a rival or some team we have any history with (and of course and end of season game where nothing is really at stake dampens any real needle). |
