Our managers over the last 18 years - Martinez - only went on to be a premier league manager and managed world number 1 Belgium and now Portugal who are quite decent. Sousa - Portuguese and Serie A legend who also went on to higher profile jobs Brendan Rogers - Liverpool and Celtic - ‘nuff said Michael Laudrup - European football legend lauded and lived at both Real Madrid and Barcelona . Multiple trophy winner one of the most decorated footballers ever. Cardiff Neil Warnock and Malky Mackay (mustn’t forget Mick McCarthy) Who’s the bigger club?? |

OMG - that’s a special sort of mental deficiency right there. We’re losing our mind they got a manager we wouldn’t entertain in the past? One who took Rochdale out of the league? Actually I’m quite happy about it |

As a swans fan I remember when we were allowed to play in the cup winners cup. Quite what TNS bring to the Champions league I’m not quite sure. They aren’t my cup of tea as a club - seems all a bit manufactured and have a lot of money compared to their league counterparts. |

Just another team that play in blue - run of the mill and nondescript. Apart from the howler by the Rhondda born Arsenal goalkeeper which could be investigated for match fixing all they would have is a few Welsh cups won against a small pool of other pro clubs. It’s really stark when I think of Bristol City - a club in a much bigger place whose fans have no such delusions pre programmed into them. At least with us we won the league cup fairly recently and had 7 consecutive seasons in the PL, play in white so a bit more originality and we stand out a little more. I don’t consider us anything more than a decent sized championship club who have punched above our weight but also had spells in the doldrums too. But when people (especially foreigners) think of Welsh football we are the team that’s remembered. |

Exactly - if they’d thought about the repercussions they’d never have posed with it. Gave WOL an excuse to rain on that parade |

It’s funny that a lot of us in January thought we’d be screwed without him but I’m actually looking forward to seeing our new fella smash it next season. |
