Not one of my better decisions to sell my QF and SF tickets back to UEFA after the France game.
Did anyone else see the QPR flag right when James got barged in the back just before our 1st goal?
A terrible performance from our starting 11 again,and it was just as well we had some good subs on the bench,but it’s the result that counts.

I can’t believe only one side got penalised for a slow over rate.Especially in a game that ended up in a result rather than a draw.
I was there on day 1,and the Indian team were so far behind in overs bowled that they had to bowl spinners for the latter part of the evening session and it was a miracle that we only lost 7 overs in the end. |

I was on holiday in Spain while Stoke won the Ashes test with his unbeaten century.I couldn’t move from beside the pool in case I lost the signal.
The family went out for lunch and came back and I was still engrossed in it.Today was very similar,but no pool to jump in to cool off this time. |

I don’t suppose Palace are that upset by dropping into the conference league.If they’d offered them a European place and a major trophy last summer,I doubt many of them would’ve cared what competition they were entering. |

There were so many stoppages during play yesterday that I’m surprised that we managed to get through 83 overs instead of the 90 that should’ve been bowled.
In my opinion they should’ve been made to bowl those extra 7 overs,otherwise they’ll carry on doing it.I know it was a hot day and most people had had enough,but 7 overs lost on one days adds up to 35 overs lost during the 5 days.I understand that you can’t do that in countries where there is limited daylight,but we could’ve easily played until 8.30 last night.
Luckily India bowled a few overs of spin or we might’ve been 15 overs short. |
