Is there an unwritten rule that says Vipotnik has to go off to accommodate Idah ?
Vipotnik is a different player this season. His hold up play has improved, his positioning, his awareness, goals, you name it he’s better.
He was causing Leicester all sorts of problems, and looked fit as a flea to me.
To take him off when he did was in my humble opinion, the wrong call by Sheehan. |

He needs to play further forward, which he did when he first came here.
I desperately hope Sheehan doesn’t waste him, playing the”the Fulton” role.
It’s early days, but thought he picked the wrong side Saturday, and why is Ronald’s name first on his team sheet? I know he’s scored goals this season, but as a winger, he can’t beat a man, and flatters to deceive most games. |

Agree, for most of the game we played with 5 at the back, with Stamenic sitting in front of the back four. A waste of a talented international player, playing the “Fulton” role.
He needs to be further up the pitch, utilising his passing skills, plus his physicality would be more than useful in midfield. |

No matter how you look at Sheehan and the team, and the money the owners have put in, we’re 4 pts off relegation.
Being at the game today, we were at times, getting bullied off the ball in midfield, by what’s now the norm in the Championship, (let alone the Premiership) is more physical players.
As much as I like our new midfield players, physically isn’t one of their strongest suits.
Stamenic has to move further up the pitch to add some steel.
He is an International, and showed that today, with some sublime touches, and passes.
Another area of concern is the Injury time goals against us, at the end of either half.
It can’t be a coincidence, and will have to be addressed by the manager and his staff. |
