There is definitely more chance of him shining, with the midfield now at his disposal. But One swallow and all that. |

Let’s be fair, you would have had to be a clairvoyant, if you thought Vip was going to be a top class striker. |

Totally agree. Modric must have shit in his eyes. |
 | Forum Reply | How do you assess your feelings towards the club and its majority owners at 20:17 2 Sep 2025
It’s a TEN for me 👏👏👏 Can’t see how the new owners & board could have done any more ? They are building from the ground up, with what seems like good appointments if you are constructing a Championship side with ambitions. I’m sure these successful business men, have a succession plan, irrespective of the success or failure of the current manager. If he succeeds, he’s headhunted, and you have to source a readymade replacement. Failure is the same. Your Tyler Morse’s of the world don’t accept failure too often. I don’t know the feelings of everyone, but I’ve renewed my season last week, and I’m quietly confident this isn’t their first rodeo. |

From the Burnley forum: Re: ARTICLE: Benson to Swansea confirmed Post Tue Sep 02, 2025 7:34 pm When he stuck that ball in at Ewood and then we had the rumours of AC Milan looking at him I'm not sure many of us would have envisaged him being sent on loan to a Championship side. So incredibly frustrating he hasn't been able to push on, hope he gets himself on track in Wales - he has so much ability |

I was thinking the exact same thing 😩 I see he’s at it again with The Gers 🥱 |

I’ve been on both Celtic and Norwich forums, and without doubt the overwhelming views on Idah are not at all encouraging. Please, please, yet not another Kukharevich, Yates, Vipotnik ie a total waste of of money |

I hope all this supposed due diligence by the scouting dept is proven correct concerning Idah. If the Celtic site is anything to go by, you have to wonder. This was one of many posts concerning him…. McStay 35K 23,290 5:50 PM - Today#10734 Just get him gone. He's a terrible player who has no future here. Bite the hand off anyone daft enough to offer money for him. We sold Kyogo and Kühn without replacements in the door but this is the one we put our foot down on? |
 | Forum Reply | The tardy Swansea City v Plymouth Argyle Match day thread UPDATED at 10:47 27 Aug 2025
Must admit, last night was like watching Martin & Williams again. I was totally bored except for our one strike wonder Sputnik. Plymouth should have won at a canter. I’ve repurchased my season ticket on the back of the new owners / board actually spending their own money, rebuilding the club. I have full faith in what they are trying to achieve, but have wondered why the 2 homes games weren’t sellouts ? But games like last night, remind fans we are a long way from The Premiership, aimless possession with no shots, and I feel until we sign a “decent” striker that gives the fans that buzz, they won’t part with their hard earned. |

Loved this from Marko Stamenić…. "I do my role and I fight for the badge," he said looking back on his debut cameo. "I fight for my team-mates. In that situation, I saw a danger threat , and I thought, 'just take him down and eliminate him'. How long have we waited for a player that has a bit of dog, plus the skill (and height) ? 👍👍👍 |

Surely this has to be the last time we have to endure 70 mins of Cullen up front ? As much as I don’t rate Sputnik, we would have never scored in a month and Sundays, had Cullen stayed on. Much better when the changes were made, but why wait 70 mins to sub the totally ineffective Cullen? Stamenić Brings much needed height, and physicality, that is lacking in midfield. He looks like a class act. As much as I like our new midfield, skilful and energetic, they are all on the small side, and today against bigger opponents, were out muscled at times. Widell makes a difference when he comes on, and will be another class act when he gets up to speed in The Championship. How do you get around the blatant, obvious time wasting of a whole team, schooled to cheat the referee and “the beautiful game” ? Answers please on a postcard. Overall, a good point considering we had no shots at goal until the changes. Special mention to The VIG, can’t wait to see that Banksesque save on tv tonight 👏👏👏 |
