id recommend watching the London series MLB games at West Ham although they weren't back this year and next year wont be possible (due to the World Cup and Metallica or someone playing the olympic stadium) It's a fun day out, you can always get tickets for less than cost in the days leading up. always a fun atmosphere |

The Panthers will be starting aging quarterback Andy Dalton, I can’t see the game being close at all. Bills with something to prove after a couple of losses. Will be a great experience though mate, enjoy. |

The men’s final a few years ago was one of my best ever sporting experience. Although the game was ok, Djokovic beat an Italian guy, I can’t remember who it was. I definitely wanted to go back for the first week to see multiple games, rather than just the final. |

Orioles fan, but leaning a bit more towards Texas Rangers having been there a few times this year. I was just thinking the other day, maybe it will take the likes of Dodgers/Yankees winning the next few championships for baseball to do some form of salary cap Like NFL. I was rooting for the Brewers, and then the marinas as their kind of underdogs. I think blue Jays are 4th or 5th in terms of spending on salary. Dodgers no1. |
 | Forum Reply | Non QPR but my film 'A Love Letter To The Beatles' Just landed on Amazon Prime at 19:58 19 Oct 2025
In the most bizarre coincidence, I sent the link to my friend in Baltimore. He is a massive beatles fan, he came to England in 2017 to watch the Ravens play the Jaguars at Wembley, and did the Liverpool tour and Abbey Road etc So imagine his surprise after watching this film, that he features in it, stood next to the lamp post while the tour guide is giving a talk at abbey road( in 2017 ). Absolutely bizarre coincidence, so I reached out to Simon who made this film. |

Sorry to hear this. AA charge extra for window seats, it’s crazy. With my extra miles and status I have a shed load of free seat vouchers now fortunately. But like I said, I use a voucher and they still charge me £80 and it takes ages to get refunded. I’m definitely not doing anything wrong as my email confirmation is always correct, but on my credit card, they take the seat cost! FYI, if you email them, I was quoted around a 30 day wait before they will even get to your email. I had to wait a long time to get acknowledged for a refund for my hotel. They agreed to pay me the hundred pound and it says I will get it within 45 days. I’m currently on day 35, despite giving them my bank details and no money yet. It’s not a lot, but it’s the principal. They are strict on the 23 kg, purely as the self check-in won’t give you any leway. At Heathrow, my bag was 24.5, the advisor moved my bag slightly so that it was off the scale and under 23, to trick the system! So sometimes if it’s slightly over, I will exit out and do this trick. Annoyingly, it’s always because of all the English food I take out like Jaffa cakes, jammy Dodgers and shortbread |

What issue did you have with American? I don’t like them at all but fly with them regularly because they are cheaper than BA. And Texas ranger told me that BA have stopped their flight to Dallas now so no choice. I find the cabin crew to be quite rude and condescending. Very stingy with alcohol, whereas BA will give you a couple of mini bottles at a time. The customer service is terrible, I have got quite a few free seat vouchers, so I don’t have to pay for window seats. However, I’m always getting charged for it and it takes a long time to get a refund. From New Orleans to Dallas in July, there was a four hour delay and the flight got cancelled. We were offered no hotel, it took me a couple of months of haggling just to get £100 back for the hotel. They do seem quite a bit of a shambles however, I’ve never had an issue with flights from Heathrow to Dallas and vice versa, they always seem to takeoff on time |

My lady went to a subsidiary of UT so I root for the Longhorns… and her ex-husband is an Aggie so that makes it even funnier. Hope you’re well mate? Anybody going to the game at Wembley Sunday? Six of us going, although the price was ridiculous this year to be in the lower bowl.£146 with fees, just to the corner of the end zone. I see Wembley gets a College game next year, cheapest tickets for £71 which I thought was quite steep. Not much demand at the minute as there were tons left on Ticketmaster. I actually didn’t mind the NFL show. This is the first year I haven’t subscribed to game pass which is now on DAZN as I move to Texas next month. I didn’t want to watch the sky game a couple of weeks ago so decided to watch Channel 5. Coverage this year is better than ever, Channel 5 showing a couple of games, sky showing multiple 6 pm and 9 pm games, it really is a good time to be a uk based nfl fan. As for new Reynolds, I don’t really like him and he embarrassed me at a fan forum. We were asking questions and he accused me of turning it into a press conference when it should’ve been fun. I asked a player a legitimate question and I don’t think they’re expecting somebody to have some good knowledge. Was probably expecting me to ask him what his favourite type of cheese is. First time in ages I haven’t paid for NFL game pass. Now sky are showing 2X 6 pm games and 2 x 9pm ones….and channel 5 showing a game. Lots of choice. And also Ravens are on prime time a fair bit which are shown on sky anyway… I’m going for the Bengals to win it all this year. |

Slightly off topic, but in relation to Cantona, anyone else think he was overrated? Or am I just not remembering his greatness? |

I have a Marshall Wooburn 2, Bluetooth and it plugs into the mains. I think I paid about £500 4 years ago. For the bedroom, I have the Marshall Kilburn 2, again, superb, much smaller but still packs a good punch. This one is rechargeable and doesn’t need to be plugged in. £180ish. Purchased from a stereo place in Birmingham. |

Changing the subject from today’s game, had a great afternoon with TeddRanger at a beer festival in Oxfordshire. Just back and watching the hundred cricket. I know it divides opinion and I’m not a fan, but what gets me, is the constant gaslighting from the commentators. Michael Vaughan was saying how it’s going to be a full house and a great atmosphere…lords is 60% full. Isa Guah (sp?) saying how there is no better atmosphere in Cricket than a hundred game. This was on the BBC. So I’ve switched to sky and we’ve had Morgan mention the word atmosphere at least three times in half an hour. It’s here to stay, I get that, but still. And this year, as a Middlesex member, no discounted tickets, £45 each. Discuss…. |

I thought VAR was supposed to eliminate these howlers. It’s so inconsistent, you could see that happening again on Saturday and not being given, correctly so. |

If you’re taller than 6’ I’d suggest the paddocks or safe standing in the loft (if any tickets are still available) |
