Congratulations to Junior who has been nominated for League 2 Young Player of Year. He is up against: Jayden Sweeney (Leyton O) and Jacob Wakeling (Swindon)
Should add a decent monetary value to his sale price should he leave
I am confident we will stay up so was looking at new teams next season from a distance point of view
Relegated from League One Ideal - FGR, Cambridge, Oxford, MK Dons Likely - FGR, Cambridge, Morecombe & Accrington (2 unwanted long journeys)
Promoted from League Two Ideal - Carlisle, Stockport, Salford, Bradford. Likely - Leyton O, whilst next 3 are difficult to predict. Would be great if Carlisle could be promoted especially if Morecombe & Accrington are relegated. An added bonus if Northampton & Stevenage could mess things up and be replaced with the northern teams mentioned
Relegated from League Two Ideal - Rochdale, Hartlepool Likely - Rochdale Hartlepool
Promoted from National League Ideal - Barnet, Boreham Wood Likely - Hollywood, Notts County. (hoping Notts County mess up the Play Offs)
Next season could see a welcome reduction in distance travelled
Apologies to our fans located in Northern regions for the selfish view taken
Instead of playing Mansfield 06 May the match date has been changed to 08 May with a 12:30KO
📆 With the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III taking place on Saturday 6 May, the U's final game of the season against Mansfield Town has been moved to Monday 8th May, 12:30pm KO.
I only live one mile from the ground but I am struggling with motivation to attend tonights match at £24 per ticket when I can stay at home in the warm and watch match for £10.
What would you do?
Attend match out of habit, no longer excitement, listen to the fans negativity, get cold, £24 on a ticket and spend on additional items, maybe a beer on way, cup of tea once in ground etc
OR
Stay at home in warm, save £14 + in money, watch match knowing if it is rubbish/ not entertaining I could watch other matches on TV or even just watch the scores come in on BBC website whilst doing something else.
Really struggling with my decision making today - HELP
We need Neil Warnock (or someone similar)- he will kick the players arses into gear and tell the DOF to f++k off and play his own style
After today I do not want an inexperienced manager that will be coerced/ forced by the DOF to play the Colchester United way!
I also do not want any internal appointment as at this present moment all these Directors of this and Directors of that have failed and are part of the problem.
