Merthyr win their first match back in the national league set up, Southport apparently had most of the play but Merthyr scored two late goals to win the day, having to play all these Northern teams (Scarborough, Chester etc) being put in the Northern section will be detrimental to their chances this season. I notice the team that jointly holds the record amount of titles with Merthyr for Southern League titles beat Wrexham yesterday. |

Distressing scenes on social media, well I thought anyway, a very frail 89 year old arrested, two female police officers seemed to be embarrassed by it. An old blind man in a wheelchair was arrested was sad to see, it seemed to me to be lots of white middle class middle aged and older people that are getting arrested. |

The Government have made a rod for their own back, declaring that group as a terrorist group, how it was allowed that the group was lumped in with two Nazi groups and then all 3 was voted on as a block was a swizz, I don't say that in hindsight either it was a swizz to get the group labelled as a terrorist group, the theory is that Israeli lobbyist groups pushed for it and they are very powerful, in my view they have great influence over western Governments, hence why when Israel was committing genocide and war crimes Western Governments were not just doing nothing, they were aiding and abetting them. |

Cardiff were lucky not too lose, Port Vale were L2 last season. |

Ducksch scores goals in the Bundesliga, is a current German international (played twice in 2023), will be dropping down to the championship level, so Birmingham will have one heck of a front line with Kyogo Furuhashi and Jay Stansfield also on their books as well as Lyndon Dykes and Demarai Gray. |

Wrexham are getting under a lot of Swans fans skin, I can see it just reading this message board. Soton will be favourites to beat them Saturday morning but can you imagine if Wrexham go to St Mary's and win that game, Wrexham fans and the media will think Wrexham will be going to the Premier League such will be the hype. |

Trying to keep up with their signings so far this season:- Lewis O'Brien from Premier League Forest, Cacace ex Serie A player, Conor Coady ex Premier League player, Kieffer Moore from 3rd place championship team Sheff Utd, George Thomason ex Bolton captain, Ryan Hardie ex Plymouth top goalscorer, Danny Ward International goalie signed to be a reserve ?, Josh Windass top championship attacking midfielder. They signed Sam Smith for a record fee in January and his goals helped them get promoted, he might not get in the team now, James McClean is Wrexham captain is he going to get in their team ? |

Wrexham have just bought a football ground now, they have bought the Rock stadium. They have put in for another tier for their new Kop stand. |

It's wild what they are doing up there, apparently they are front runners to get Lewis Koumas on a season long loan from Liverpool (there are loads of clubs in for him). Apparently Nathan Broadheads father has posted a picture of him in a Wrexham shirt (when he was a boy), as if to say we are Wrexham fans come and get him. |

Lions fluked the series against a poor Aussie side thanks to the ref in the 2nd test, its not often you can say that a Lions side that wins a series is a poor team but this Lions side is in that poor team category. |

Both Wrexham and Newport have come out with nice reserve shirts, not sure if Patagonia and Basque shirts will endear themselves to Argentinian and Spanish authorities, are the Welsh teams being a little rebellious and edgy. I wonder Starmer will consider banning them ? |

Latest the Israeli lobby are now after Miriam Margoyles, they want her OBE and Bafta awards taken off her. |

Depending on the report at the time Wycombe turned down either 6 or 7 million for him in January, they probably gambled on being promoted. |

Most teams lose money because they pay the players too much money, in most cases teams have to pay the players lots of money that they cant afford to compete on the pitch, the end game for most clubs is to find owners that are prepared to pay the debts. |

Why would the Arabs agree to a Jewish state in Palestine? What right did the British have to say to the Jewish people you can have a homeland in Palestine? At the time Jewsish people only made up 10% of the population . Subsequently why would the Palestinians agree to giving their land up and on top of that agree to terms that they thought was all in Israels favour. Now in 2025 after what has happened and Governments backing Israel, I don't know if the Palestinians have much of a choice but to officially lose their land (its been lost in reality for decades but not in some of their minds). |

Kone has lots of potential, scores lots of goals, plays in a position Swans are weak in, lots of upside as regards future transfer value if he comes off, as he is young. I did notice him on the bench a few times last season, not sure why, most transfers are a risk particularly at Swans level (Championship) but Kone would be a big Yes for me. |

It will be interesting to see if during the coming season if the same thing will be penalised or not. |
