And the referee had to take into account the impact that the severity of the incident had upon the players team mates. Some were apparently quite distressed. |

Much more serious than a simple shoulder injury. He was given morphine via a canula on the field, he lost feeling in his arm and shoulder and had difficulty breathing. More morphine was administered in the dressing room and two doctors attended him to reset the shoulder. He was detained in hospital overnight for further treatment and is due to have an MRI scan later. Already predicted to be out of action for several months. Good luck to the lad for a full recovery. https://www.wealdstone-fc.com/post/daniel-nkrumah-injury-update [Post edited 7 Sep 13:17]

Madness. The money they have spent with that manager and squad and now someone else will tear it all up and want to change it. |

It's not really comparable. The issue with the Trust is that there are serious concerns about the suitability of certain people to hold specific roles. This has been highlighted and brought to the attention of others, quite legitimately, but has only led to others sticking their ostrich heads into the sand and blaming the members for doing the right thing. The Trust have failed to produce accurate minutes of the meeting called by the members, and treated it and the members as an irrelevance. The time is overdue when certain Trust board members should be seriously considering their positions. Or do the members have to step in again? |

You need to pack it in with all this sh!t. It's bloody disrespectful, when we are 2nd in a tough league, 4 wins in 5 and showing great promise. Give your head a wobble. |

He needs to learn to head the ball for a player of his stature if he wants to score goals. He runs all afternoon, but rarely with much purpose. Other than that he'll have to rely on the two-yard tap-ins. |

Jim didn't mention any players by name. He just said that some more familiar faces would be missing, for different reasons. Assuming 1 reason may be existing injuries, it is easy to come to the conclusion that 'other reasons' might be someone leaving for elsewhere. |

He also said that a couple of 'more familiar names' may not appear for 'different reasons'. Probably the subject of bids from elsewhere and being kept on the sidelines to prevent injuries. Beckwith and Rodney spring to mind as obvious candidates. Let's see who doesn't get a run out tomorrow. |

Described as 'versatile', so perhaps he'll be the new goalie. |
