Sheehan seema to favour him so maybe he will stay.
Even if the Forest guy signs we still need some depth .I liked what I saw today high energy fast paced attacikmg football this is going to be draining and mayne we need some extra depth ....the bench is strong now with various options and if Fulton is happy ro be a bench warmer and the club xan afford it then why not. I get it many fans dont rate him but our manager does.

I wonder if the club fancy a cup run having players like Cooper and Fulton allow some rotation without dilutimg the starting line up too much especially in the early rounds against " weaker" opposition.

that would put them in a spin....Kone has had his head turned and currently Wycombe are stopping him playing at a higher level....purely to greed....this coukd qell backfire on them. No transfer and left with a player running down his contract and they end up with no fee

Re Kone id we are no longer in negotiations then we have effectively walked away, doesnt mean we are ni linger interested.....our final offer is on the table its what we are prepared to pay take it or leave it Wycombe the ball is in your court but we are waljing away .....we are still interested but no longer at the tablw wasting time which coukd be better utilised sexuring the next target....

Friendlies are not always meaningless and cerain things can be worked out if used properly which is why I have some "questions" about Sheehan
Why given we had Cabango and Santos injured didnt Sheehan try 19 year old Blair Mackenzie a 6 ft 2 CB with 50 senior appearances albeit in the Scottish leagues but 50 more appearances at CB than Jay Fulton a midfielder who many do not even rate as a decent player there a player shoehorned into the psotion a round peg in a square hole fits but doesnt fit the slot.
I rememebr an 18 year old Dudley Lewis being thrown into our promotion race from the old second tier and he shone but it was alongside senior pros.
Later due to issues Dudley whilst still only 21 was amongst many other young talented inexperienced players made to look ordinary and useless when we were forced to play teams made up mostly of the youngsters.

Which is why I question Sheehan and can understand why some here have "doubts" about Sheehan. I hope Im amproven wrong and I will wait untill 10 games before finalising a decision but for me I am not as confident about Sheehan yet.

These players you mention will do better out there tham the 2 MLS players brought here to assisit our promotion under Cooper


Bringing in two average MLS players who were recivering from injuries was mecer a great idea...as tou say that league is not near Championship standard
