Just been talking with a Newport fan full of criticism of HJ .
The fans thought Jenkins woukd bring some priffesiinalism to the club given what happened with us but it seems thats not the case.
Many if their fans feel he is taking them down and is interfering too much with tactics and on field matters. |

as bad as Gailbraith was when you saw him?
You werent happy when his name was banded about before we signed him.
What was it you said
"He was anonymous in both games I watched him play.
Im certain the reports on him being brilliant are just smoke and mirrors to big him up."

Yes he got caught offisde a lot today,despite being marked by 6 ft giants he did get some headers in today.
He cant be that useless or the manager wouldnt pick him.....or do we have a useless manger for doing so? |

we agree on that....but this thread was about getting off Cullens back....
Whilst not the answer Sheehan sees Cullen as his best option currently which shows how poor our previous recruitment has been we all agree Cullen is not an out and out striker buts its not his fault he is failing and appearing useless in a role to which he is not best suited. |

you miss the point
Cullen is getting grief...yet we all know he is not a lone striker....so does Sheehan he said as much in Tursdays presser....again today many around me were having a go at Cullen but he is doing the job he is being asked to do even though he is a round peg in a square hole he fits but doesnt fill the slot.
This theead says get off Culls back my response is may e the manager should be the one getting the flack.
Maybe Sheehan should look to change formation/tactics to better suit what resources he has |

Its not Cullens fault....he is only doing what he is being asked to do.

Yalcouye was subbed as he was physically out mucsled. Yes he played a blinder but was ineffective.
We should have made the changes at half time.
Stamenic and Vips physical presence made a difference.
We can criticise Cullen all we like, and most of the fanbase know he is not a lone striker, yet our manager does....he has other options in rerms of personnel or formation but chooses to persist. |

Sheehan got things wrong today
It was crying out for a change at half time we needed more physicality....whilst Yalcouye was having a good game he was too lightweight as was Eom it was calling for Vip Stamenick and Inoousa but we waited ro make the change.
Sheehan seems ro favour a 4 3 3.
Good second half performance against a very cynical Watford.
Despite getting the equaliser Vip fluffed 2 opportunities to get a winner.
Still very much a work in progress and we need a steiker or try to find a way to play to the strengths of Vip and Cullen |

Sheehan seema to favour him so maybe he will stay.
Even if the Forest guy signs we still need some depth .I liked what I saw today high energy fast paced attacikmg football this is going to be draining and mayne we need some extra depth ....the bench is strong now with various options and if Fulton is happy ro be a bench warmer and the club xan afford it then why not. I get it many fans dont rate him but our manager does.
I wonder if the club fancy a cup run having players like Cooper and Fulton allow some rotation without dilutimg the starting line up too much especially in the early rounds against " weaker" opposition. |
