Early 70s.
Sunderland came to HQ.
Cant remember the match or the score.
But do remember 2 mad Sunderland fans on Shepherds Bush station attacking people with knitting needles.
A fight ensued then the police came and took them away.
When i enventually got on the train i was talking to a sensible Sunderland fan who asked me .
Did they have their front teeth, because in Sunderland every one who likes a fight hasnt got his front teeth.
Its a badge of honour.

I was in a queue at the bar.
A man in his fifties asked for a beer and a tea for his dad.
The server reached for 2 glasses.
The man said " you must have misheard me i asked for one to be a tea.
The server said " This is QPR we dont do cups". |

Jeanine Cummins.
A heartwarming story about a woman who witnesses 16 members of her family shot down at the BBQ of her 15yr old niece birthday party.
Because her jounalist husband wrote a story about the leader of a drugs cartel.
She then has to travel through 6500miles through the bad lands of Mexico to the safety of America
Being trailed by the cartel.
I am never without a book and this is the best book i have ever read.
I would recommend this book to anyone male or female

But it is being reported that Burnley are interested in taking Marti as their manager.
At the moment Craig Bellamy is in interim charge along with Michael Jackson as his number 2 .
The Burnley fans are very unhappy as Bellamy has no managerial experience and is considered too old at 44.
They want a manager that can get them straight back into the prem next season and have highlighted Marti amazing achievement for us.
I hope the board make him a worthwhile offer to keep him.

I was in a pub yesterday near Leicester Square with about 100 Dortmund fans.
There was a narrow corridor between my seat the bar and the toilet .
As i was on my way back to my seat
A man was coming towards me carrying a tray of drinks.
He had a Dortmund hat, scarf, shirt and a tatoo on his leg.
I stepped back to let him through as he passed me he satd.
" Cheers Pal" in the broadest Scottish Accent i was taken aback.
Made me smile

In the last month i have seen the mighty invicible Leeds United on 3 occasions.
At HQ, at Carrow Road in the semi final
And at Wembley in the final.
In all 3 matches not only did they not score they never looked like scoring.
I felt a bit sorry for the 150,000 Leeds fans that went to Wembley yesterday |

The Beautiful Game.
Its about an ex football scout who gets a group of homeless men together to play in the
Homeless World Cup.
4 players a side 14 minute matches
A really moving story about how these men became homeless, and yet gelled together to form a team .
Absorbing story thoroughly enjoyed it. |

Coventry ahead and cruising.
2 goals in 4 minutes for Wolves it looked like a total injustice.
Then 9 minutes added time
A Cov goal with 1 minute to go
Then the winner in the 99th minute.
