Dale have been handed a home draw with fellow Lancastrians Preston North End in the next round of the Johnstone's Paints Trophy.

Our reward for overcoming Walsall via penalties in midweek is a home tie with current League One high flyers Preston North End. 

The game which is the Northern Quarter Final will take place on Spotland on Tuesday 8th November and will come just a week and a half before Dale travel to Deepdale in the League.

No admission prices have been set for this fixture as of yet.
