We all think that we know the game of football better than the TV pundits, now is your chance to prove it by entering the Ugly Inside Prediction League, its free to enter and simple to do.

Can you spare 30 seconds before each Saints game to make a prediction, because that is all it takes, for each fixture you merely have to predict the score and the first Southampton scorer (Or not as was the case last season)

The rules are simple, If you predict the result of a match accurately (eg. 3-1) you get 3 points plus a bonus of the number of goals in that game (eg. 3+1 = bonus of 4). Otherwise, if you just correctly predict the outcome correctly (ie. home win, draw or away win) you get one point. Finally, if you guess the correct first scorer for your team then you get 2 points.

If you're the forgetful type, we can send you a reminder the day before a match so you don't lose ground on your mates and work colleagues.

You don't need to register a new account to join the Prediction League if you already use our forums or other interactive features. One profile gives you access to everything. If you want to enter more than one team in the Prediction League however, you can register multiple profiles.

Given that this is a league run over 46 Championship matches, you can even miss a few games and still be in with a chance.

There are of course no prizes on offer, like Mastermind, you are competing purely for the prestige of the title of The Ugly Inside Football Genius 2025/26.
