2-1 written all over it

The ref is a total homer sh*thouse.

Lady luck has not smiled on us today. Good performance, ridiculous result.

Yup.

Any away point is a decent away point, but a stronger ref would have clamped down on their shit and our superior skills would have shown.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Decent result away, some of the players might wake up after a fairly over-confident performance today. Decent play though. Onwards and upwards.

Trundle could still do a job..

Bit of egg on the face of the hideously arrogant contingent on here over the last week.

Decent point against a side that looked intent on kicking us off the park from the first minute onwards.

Had enough chances to win, switched off for their goal. Two points dropped imo.

Jonjo was really poor.

I can only think of the word "f*ck".

Still, an away point is an away point.

This.

And fair play to our boys who showed a little frustration but never rose to the levels of grime that Sunderland had.

Honestly I don't think we had a great evening and our midfield looked a little to 'pass through' for my liking. Another club would have punished us for it. instead we can share the spoils.

Ref completely bottled it. Lost count of how many final warnings their fat winger got.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Quite how they ended up playing 11a mystery.

That said, they showed spirit but that alone won't save them this season.

We had chances and didn't take them.

Glad we didn't have any of ours maimed.

An away point isn't a bad result, but that was a missed opportunity. How we lost the 2nd half I do not know. We missed good chances and then ended up hanging on. One worry is that the ball did not 'stick' upfront after Gomis went off. At half-time I was thinking we'd be top four tonight, so can't help feeling a tad disappointed.

Ayew could have had a hattrick of headers in the second half.

For £120k a week you'd expect at least one.

Sunderland v Swansea CIty - Official Match Thread on 17:01 - Aug 22 with 1787 viewsicecoldjack

What a wasteful game for us. Ayew should have scored at least 2 . We really needed to take our chances today but failed and were lucky to hold on.

I'd take a point, we performed well in patches Fernandez had some poor choices and Naughton got roasted towards the end . We didn't seem to want to go the extra yard today, point away from home so can't grumble.

Sunderland are crap and will hopefully go down.

Looking at possession 60% and shots on target it's 2 points dropped.

On the other hand I think most would have taken DWD from our first three games.

You've been round long enough to know that there was no way we were gonna strut into the Stadium of Light and waltz away with a 0-3 win as so many predicted. You got carried away with the reported "crisis talks" at Sunderland and conveniently forgot that only two, I repeat two, games had been played.
