Very true but part of convincing players is being sharp when the window opens in Jan & making it clear you are the one we want - feels right now that we are randomly window shopping, chatting with a few 'shop assistants' about their stock but not being overly eager in an attempt to keep lots of plates spinning & getting the best deal - usually a philosophy I would fully support but in our position 1 key signing in the first week of Jan would have lifted the whole club. | | | |

This isnt amazon. Key signings who want to come to us dont grow on trees and they are not cheap. And no one knows who we are talking to or who have talked to. This place gets barmier by the second. |  |
