I know he's not the same player as he was then, but it's still Holty and he's still wearing a Dale shirt!!!
Only time will tell if it's a good signing but it's given me a Dale related boost when I really needed one.
Welcome back Holty!
I assume Andrews injury is a pretty bad one, best wishes Calvin. This as turned a negative into a positive though. I really think Henderson will thrive with Holt in the team and it gives opposing defences another quality forward to contend with. His hold up play will also be a big plus, even more so away from home. Whats Dagnall doing i wonder?
Can only think he's signed for all the right reasons. Signing for Carlisle would have been more convenient, there'll have been loads of clubs who could offer more money than us and Hilly isn't one to make fairytale signings (or signings come to that).
Think we'll have a few more heading over the Pennines on Saturday now.
Looking forward to seeing him get off the mark with his first booking

he's up at Hibs - don't know if he's catching though.

Never mind Dagnall, what about a cheeky loan offer for Ricky Lambert
Saw him for Huddersfield last season a few times when the missus' lad was there. On loan so only saw him a handful of times but he still had ability. No pace whatsoever, didn't move much but he held the ball up brilliantly, linked up play and bullied defenders. Scored a couple of goals too.
He then did his ACL I think, and not really kept track of him since.
Huge boost of an arrival I imagine. Surely it will tempt folk back to Spotland, if nothing else? And his arrival will probably bring the best out of others, he's got that kind of personality. Only met him once and he was very pleasant, very down to earth.

Chuffed for you's. Hope it works well.
PS - How good does Keef look?
Looks like a rough sleeper...just needs a can of Tennants Super Strength in his hand. Maybe that can be the dress code for Colchester on the last day?
