Wasn't the fact we had to sign both part of the reason we didn't bother? That and Houston thought you could find strikers like that at most Conference clubs. And he didn't have an agent Clive Berlin liked to work with.

I remember thinking we'd tear the division apart with Spencer, Sheron and Gallen up front. Sadly so did Ray Harford, and said as much, which pretty much got him the job
