We (Barrow) train at hopwood hall, so little disruption for Jordan as we are a full time club.
I can see closer ties between the clubs in the future, loans etc for us, first choice on our list of up and coming talent for yourselves. [Post edited 7 Jun 2017 19:12]

Seems ideal, that. With you training at Hopwood I'm surprised there haven't been more players go out on loan there. Would be good to send some of the younger players (Morley, Gillam etc) there for 6 months or so to get a good run in a professional football side that play at the right end of the table. If the players (those 2 especially) are as good as they're made out to be, they should hopefully be able to make an impact at that level and as you say it'd be minimal disruption in terms of travel, keeping an eye on them etc. Best of both worlds. |  | | |

Chris Dunphy said to me a couple of seasons ago that Keith Hill was reluctant to spend money even if he gave it to him.
The fact we seem to have spent a lot of money on this chap, tells me Hill must rate him very highly indeed and wasn't prepared to lose out to another club. No C'est la vie attitude.

This is a great signing on paper, the lad has been on fire for Barrow, not like the Dale to spend money let alone near the 100k mark. A goal every three games is brilliant for a wide man, exactly what we needed, with losing NML's goal threat. Welcome to the club Jordan. This is exactly what was required in a late push for ST sales. Yes he takes the corner for them in the 1st half and also the follow up header. Also plays a lovely ball across at the end when Harrison should score.
