Oldham fan mate of mine said he was offered the job but turned it down because of the owner.

I know our chairman says that the club is looking to appoint somebody within 2 weeks, but hopefully they can appoint somebody by next week. We need to sign players asap, if we mess around for a few weeks, then we will be left with poor leftovers.
I suspect that big Jim will get the job, possibly with either an experienced director of football (i.e KH) to advise him.
