Unbelievable turnaround 21:55 - Dec 12 with 7369 views | Dr_Parnassus | Has there been a better immediate impact than this in recent years? I really can’t think of one. From bottom of the league in the form table to the top in 15 games, with exactly the same squad of players.

Unbelievable turnaround on 07:43 - Dec 14 with 1872 views | magicdaps10 | I think it's been confused here, people were saying that his football is boring and I will even say that I along with others said that he was building no foundation at the our club. Its no argument that Cooper builds a team who picks up points but what can be argued is does he have that bravery to push his teams on to take risks that ultimately defines a solid play off team to one who can take the next step. I think if we are going to compare Cooper then let's bring Graham Potter into the equation..... Imagine what we could have done with Potter in the 2 seasons that Cooper was here!

Nothing has been confused. Although sales for backtracking reverse lights are currently through the roof.

Unbelievable turnaround on 09:29 - Dec 14 with 1811 views | Whiterockin | There is no doubt that Cooper gets excellent results in the league season, it's at the sharp end up until now he has failed. His play off record is very poor, we will just have to see how he does if he gets Forest there. January could be a turning point when he can bring players in, could it upset the current balance of the squad who knows? Finally do I wish he was still here, definitely not. Unbelievable turnaround on 03:26 - Dec 14 by Dr_Parnassus | Those entrenched views are being tested though, those views were that he isn’t a good manager. So it’s an ever evolving situation which is updated every time he manages a game. So it will never be “done” as such until next retires or people end up on the same page and there is no need for debate anymore. I wish him success, apart from when he faces us of course, not sure why I’d wish him failure. He did a lot for us and is a good young Welsh manager that is managing one of Wales’ top young prospects. I’d rather them win every week than Fulham. |
I'd wish him success if he was managing in a different division to us but not when we're competing directly. Forest have a bigger fanbase than us but have been badly run with successive managers accumulating a bloated squad. As a Swans fan I'd rather they didn't get it right. No arguments about the likes of Fulham & Bournemouth from me.

3 teams go up though, someone has to get it right if it isn't us. Why not improve Welsh chances and prospects, that's my view, if they don't then someone else will.

But with parachute payments & investment from the owners I'd be amazed if Fulham & Bournemouth don't fill 2 of those places. Forest are just one of those teams that I've disliked for years I'm afraid. I still remember this! https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/welsh-pair-blast-back

Yeah I am not saying you should wish them well, personal opinion on that. But if there was a team other than us to do well, I would prefer it be the one with the best Welsh prospects or ones with fond Swansea connections. I remember having a soft spot for Coventry when they had the Hartson and Bellamy combo up front. Granted they were levels above us but even if they weren't I would much prefer other teams to fail over them. But each to their own, we all have our reasons. [Post edited 19 Dec 2021 2:30]

It was Iwan roberts and Bellamy at Norwich.
Unbelievable turnaround on 20:47 - Dec 19 with 1252 views | Dr_Parnassus | However, the point remains. When a club has Welsh International prospects in it, I would prefer them to do well over another random team. Whether that’s Norwich, Coventry or Accrington Stanley - makes no difference at all. Up the Sky Blues!

I was living in Norfolk when Bellamy and Roberts made their debuts for Norwich. Bellamy was always regarded as a prodigious talent, with a difficult temperament. His big breakthrough came when he was moved from a midfield to a forward position. I think Bruce Ricoh was the manager responsible. Roberts arrived at Norwich with the reputation as a well travelled journeyman. He didn’t get off to the best of starts, he had fitness issues. However, he became a fans’ favourite at Carrie Road and he is regarded by most in Norfolk as a club legend. Incidentally, Hartson played just twelve games for Coventry in 2001. The club was relegated that season from the Premier League and has yet to return. Bellamy and Hartson were sold to cut wage costs.

We didn't like Cooperball that was all. I think we all appreciated where we were in the table even if we couldn't understand how we got there playing like we did I'll always respect that he got us into the play offs twice. In hindsight I wonder what would have happened had the games been played in front of fans throughout the season, would we have raised our game more often as we proved we could from time to time? Although it had been so long since we did it no one expected it in the final I wanted change to watch a brand of football which excited me more than before - I've given Martin enough time now with his squad and this is no better, its different but potentially even more frustrating
| This is Patches O'Houlihan saying "Take care of your balls, and they'll take care of you." |

Who is we? Many people enjoyed what we (the club) were doing over the last few seasons, probably even more so now. It’s very easy to see how we got to the play offs, we did it with the blueprint that allowed us to get there last time. Defensive solidity, pragmatism and playing to your squads strengths. I’ve always said if we can play a brand of football pleasing to the eye AND just as successful then great, but I don’t want to sacrifice one for the other as to me thats not progress. So far this season we have sacrificed one and got neither. [Post edited 20 Dec 2021 20:51]
