There has been NO diplomatic effort by ANY western leader to solve this crisis through negotiations. They rather keep feeding young Ukrainian men and women into the mincer because war is profit, especially if you are a member of the U.S. senate or congress and happen to have shares in the big 5 attack , sorry I mean defence companies.
That’s the real story and it makes me sick to my stomach. The Minsk accords have been willfully ignored by the Ukraine (and the west could have imposed sanctions upon them for this) and they just carried on attacking Donbas. It appears they weren’t expecting any kind of response! When agreements are breached the final option is military action.

I spent a fair bit of time calling out some of those far left lot on twitter for being Russian sympathisers. Often carefully worded but the reality is that they seek to attack Ukraine at its worst time because Ukraine having wanted to join NATO makes Ukraine the enemy.
I've noticed a lot of Ukrainian people have started talking about them too. Tankies is the reference used I believe.
And yes, I absolutely can't stand Johnson or the Tories personally, but Jeremy Corbyn as PM as Russia invaded...not good at all. Funny how the 'stop the war' lot never protest outside the Russian embassy.

He’s had the capability to do this for many years. The U.S. has been arming Ukraine since 2014, maybe even before so why attack when it’s stronger than it’s arguably ever been? Makes no sense at all unless he began to feel threatened.

It bothers me that fellow Swans fans are spreading the Kremlin propaganda given all that is happening. But then it bothered me when I realised that many of the far left do take this approach because of their hatred for NATO and aspects of the West. I think it is quite possible to be critical of what some Western countries have done militarily and while still being sickened about what Russia is doing. The US and UK have used military force where they shouldn't have done and even commited some war crimes which never should have happened, but I'd say it's pretty clear that Russia's behaviour is on another level, with the very worst of it coming from the top.
