Let's lighten things up a little. A lot of vitriol floating on the forum at the moment, when it should be the time of goodwill and all that palava.
Anyway, the gentleman who invented CTM has passed away. It was never an indigenous Indian continent dish but I used to quite enjoy it. Very rarely eat it now but used to love it in the old Gulshan on St Helens Road. Lovely fruity red dish with a creamy top.
Anybody enjoy it now and from which curry house?

Madras is strange one. Some just do it too hot in my opinion. I think it should have a little bite with lots of taste but no way a water quencher like a Vindaloo.

Can't be doing with to many of those, they take over the taste and the more of them you eat the hotter it gets, spoils it for me, I don't mind hottish but when its hot hot, its a no from me. | |

Mrs T when we were youngsters used to hav a Phaal.
