Drugs are everywhere, popped into a pub at the Marina earlier for a beer, it was rammed, a group of three or four girls came in and someone came over to one of them and slipped her a couple of packages and then they pushed closer to the bar in front of the queue, we just turned around and walked out.

One of the reasons I very rarely visit the City Centre now , Mcdonalds /Castle Gardens to that pawn shop by the market entrance is zombie heaven , my trip to HSBC is not nice .
My alternative is their Neath branch , another area , by the Railway Station , not the picture postcard vision of our areas visitors will want to see ,
Just to make it difficult for me as an oldie to understand , why are school pupils openly smoking weed and joints without a care for any reprimand . | | | |

As it goes, my son is well behaved, as far as I know 
He doesn't get into trouble and all his mates are from families who are a bit old school and insist on discipline.
All my boys teachers tell me he is doing well but could try harder but he doesn't cause trouble in school and is always being praised by our neighbours.
Some parents are powerless because their kids end up in bad crowds, peer pressure is relentless. Some just don't give a toss while others again seem to encourage their kids to be idiots.
On the OP, I spent 8 months working for NCP last year and I saw lots of stupid stuff including violence, drugs, alcoholism and of course, the homeless. I didn't have any trouble really but some colleagues had a load, one because of his attitude to some of these homeless. I had some empathy which went a long way. | | | |
