Well, many posters have gotten their way and Paal is now history. Despite the nonsense being written about him on this thread.
I hope we get somebody better to replace this lad because he was a very good footballer, available most weeks, worked hard up & down the line, put some nice goalscoring crosses into the box and it goes on. |
Wow. I started this after Watford away under GA. That was a great day. Admittedly, my view never wavered on Paal. Very, very happy to see back of him. And I'd delightedly forgotten about him, until this came up!!
This is a chat page, so it's about opinions. I certainly wouldn't have been screaming at him from the sidelines. It did puzzle me that others, who did that, would give others such a hard time, whilst he got a pass. That was my point.
We'll have to agree to disagree, because the only thing I agree in what you wrote, is that he was available every week. Assist wise probably you could count them on one hand (Watford under Beale, Frey at Luton from memory), but as someone, who took a lot of our corners, free kicks, and had license to get forward (especially in a 4231 or 433) , it should have been a lot higher than I bet it was.
Anyway, he's history. We move on, and who knows who's there start of next season. | | | |
