He does a lot of that absolutely. He’s much more comfortable winning the ball than asking for it when we’re in possession. He’s often anonymous when the CBs are looking for an essy pass into midfield.

For me it is about getting the right mix and formation of players throughout the team rather than individual players, we saw what Martin did with the players he had available after the transfer window closed last year to different effects. | | | |
