NFR Sopranos 25 Year Anniversary 22:48 - Jan 13 with 9437 viewsJames1980

A few days ago one of the greatest TV series to grace the airwaves celebrated it's 25th Anniversary. Which other TV series regardless of genre would you put in a hall of fame?

Top tier alongside Gomorrah, The Wire and most recently Succession. I'm due a rewatch of The Sopranos for sure.

Lost will always be the G.O.A.T for me but it's very closely followed by The Sopranos. Just finishing up with Breaking Bad for the first time as well which has been brilliant.

Honourable mentions for:

The Wire
The Newsroom
The West Wing
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
Early Doors
Only Fools and Horses
Phoenix Nights
Max & Paddy

If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor

Breaking bads last episode is a classic. Thats the way to wrap up a series!.

You need move along to Better Call Saul. BCS is arguably just as good if not better.

Easiest upvote ever.

The Royle Family is about as perfect a sitcom as I've seen.
More recently I thought Derry Girls was excellent and forms a good holy trinity with Father Ted and Moone Boy.

Never thought I'd say it but If you've got nippers (and even if you haven't) then Bluey is an absolute delight. Hoping my kids never grow out of it.

Incidentally Michael Imperioli rates The Royle family very highly.
