Big reason that I've no intention of having another bike, as much as I love them, Wife and my Eldest are against any thought of me having another, plus the fact I haven't had a bike since 2019 and I had gone 10/12yrs before I bought my last bike in 2016/17 after my accident in 2006 I was lucky as I was walked away from that one, bike was written off though, todays traffic is manic to many vehicles on the roads, everyone drives for themselves curtesy has gone, people on phones etc, it all adds up to risks, along with my age. | |

Puch 49cc , yellow , mates had FTSE 50 fizzies , great days as a kid , pedal kick start or pedal harder when going uphill it was supposed to have helped up the gradient ahead .
GSF Bandit on now , great bike but as mentined earlier the roadskills of driving a bike to some of the car driver idiots more concerned with their phones is a worry on a ride out .
Some of the bikers I see passing me on occasions I do think why , so dangerous to you and oncoming traffic who could be innocent and on a day out .

I’ve got a GSXR 1000 and a little KTM 390 Duke, I prefer riding the Duke now because I get more enjoyment out of being able to use the power that’s available with less risk of breaking the law or myself.
I don’t do cold or wet anymore though 😂🤣😂 | | | |

To my shame,I did it with my lad when he was aged 10.
I didn’t do more than 70 over the mountain but it felt like standing still .
Loads of broken bikes around too.
Anyone going,leavecbike behind and watch it in Douglas area preferable Braden Bridge or Hillberry. Bray Hill but hard to get a good spec .

I had a black with gold lines Puch 50 when I was 16. Loved those days but problems with the carb, I lost the main jet so I had to unscrew the bottom of the carb and pour out the petrol. Took me ages to get a new one from the dealers on Windsor Rd in Neath. | |
