I'm just loving that no one is ever beaten - well, perhaps the Tigers against the Storm this weekend - but a lead of 20 points isn't unassailable at all. In fact, it's just time to wake up and get busy.
I started the round on my own at home shouting at the telly as the Hammer reeled in Parramatta's last-minute break away, progressed through the Bulldogs somehow catching and lapping the Raiders, and peaked with 4 (?) missed field goal attempts by the Cowboys to win what turned out to be a 30-30 draw.

Since the teams were named in the first round, I couldn't see how QLD could possibly match the Blues this year. That team is frightening. And yet...they do it every year.
Heart says Maroons, head says Blues...but nowhere near as loudly as it did before Big Papa was added, and the Hammer went to fullback.

i was going radio rental watching it. The Raiders have usurped rangers in ever possible way for me now in terms of emotional expenditure watching them. Sad to say..
I noticed that AJ Brimson Fullback of the Gold coats titans and Billy smith center for the Sydney Roosters , Have Joined Victor radley in making themselves available for England in the Ashes.
Evens things up a bit as the Aussies are losing yet more players to Tonga and Samoa.

Vossy is such an amazing commentator and communicator as well. Just absolutely sells his authenticity and enthusiasm to the viewer.
A lot of the Fox coms is done on stream back in Sydney, but Vossy goes to the grounds despite also having a morning radio show.
He enhanced that so much for me this morning. "Cleary in position, 37 metres out, dead centre... this time... off the post... OFF THE POST... my goodness, and Canberra come back with the ball, we have seen it all tonight, and now we'll be seeing even more, because is Ethan Strange is away, Strange is away for the Raiders..."
You can hear the guy out of his seat, and he's so immaculate with his call.
