The finish to the raiders game last night was something else.

Moved to Canberra 7 years ago from Perth and instantly took the Raiders on. Butchers are selling green sausages such is the excitement. Great fun!

I've forgotten the incredible feeling of euphoria when supporting a winning professional sports team. It feels Good.

Can't wait steve!, i'm more excited than FA cup Final Day when Freddie Starr dressed up as Reich Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia before Man utd v southampton in '76.

Hopefully Marky mark will tour with the kangaroos.

Storm, Panthers, Sharks and Minor prem winners the Raiders to waltz through.

I make that about 7 syllables - surname!

Every team is capable of beating the opponent that they will be facing this weekend. However, I'm going for Melbourne, Penrith, Roosters including Mr 7 syllables and Canberra.

Interesting to note that the Bulldogs have Sexton on the bench at Mahoney's expense!. Personally felt that Sexton was treated harshly and shouldn't have been dropped for Galvin. Even more amazed that there were no NRL sides interested in his services for next season, especially a number outside of the top 8. He will definitely improve les Catalans next season.

The lad is only 24 years old for christ's sake and hasn't done much wrong in my view.

Chan’s broken teeth. Yikes!

No Crichton cooks the Dogs, I think. In fact, I’d have the Panthers and the Roosters over any of the Dogs, Storm or Broncos at the moment.

Ha! Yeah looked like the Joker eh?!?! Storm’ll get it done mate ;) , a truckload of injuries but I feel Harry Grant and that mobile pack will drag that side to a title.

What a game this is. Raiders devestated

That was the best game of the season, and that is saying something this season.
The Broncos were gone, no way back…until they found one.
How did the Raiders not win that?
Still no idea who is going to win the whole thing, what a great competition.

Walsh is super human - Raiders played that last 20 mins trying to hold on. Lack of finals experience got us.

I’ve been away in Ireland for over a week so have watched the last two rounds and only just caught the latest scores. The Sharks can get stuffed as they’re not winning the comp. I guess it’s tall round to unlikely international organised crime kingpin Brandon Smith’s to get over it. It’s the Storm v Panthers again, isn’t it? ( As recently predicted…)

Can't work out if the Sharks were very good or Raiders very bad, maybe a bit of both. Raiders just didn't recover mentally from what happened last week.

Broncos v Penrith should be a cracking game. Storm will beat Sharks I think.

Great game tonight. Sharks did well to stay in it. The Hines knock on killed the momentum they were just starting to build. I live in Sharks territory these days so at least it will be a quiet night!

Just when you think British RL can't descend any further, the Leigh chairman appears to have got pissd up and withdrawn his club from the play-offs in a strop about tickets.

'Degsy' is perhaps the most cretinous owner I've ever seen in sport, which is saying something. Good on Wigan for calling him out on his drunken foolishness.

So, who is going to bring it home on Sunday? It's nice to go into a GF not having a clue who will win it.

Brisbane's attack gets all the attention, understandably, but it was their defence that won the semi, I think. After half-time they turned the Panthers away again and again and from there turned the game around. I didn't think they had that in them, but here they are.

And Melbourne are sort of undersold as the side with 'the system' above all...that's hard to argue, but that distracts a little from the flair this side has too.

Winners dotted through both teams, each has a monster up front, great game managers and jet-fuelled full backs. Can't wait.

I feel like Melbourne might edge it, BUT Broncos name could be on the trophy given the luck they've ridden in the two finals games so far.

Melbourne also have two days extra rest before the GF which may make a difference. Panthers were in control at the weekend until they ran out of gas towards the end. The effort of getting from last place midway through the season into the finals and then three weeks of finals caught up with them.

Yes. He has a very long list of terrible behaviour, some of it oafish some of it downright nasty. He's also currently leading the coup within the sport to give himself and a couple of like-minded individuals almost complete control.

It was something wasn't it?

He and the Broncos have actually had more substance to them than I thought, especially during the 2nd half of the season.

They aren't just flashy when the going is good, though they do that rather well; there is some real grit too...a little dash of Maguire sprinkled in.

The thing is, Melbourne weren't bad, Walsh was just the difference. Great game, great season.

Thought Melbourne schooled them first half but they did enough to stay in it. Second half an entirely different story and a brilliant display by Brisbane, Walsh especially but also Haas (who has been brilliant throughout the finals) and Mam. Lost Reynolds and Hunt and still got it done.
