It was a terrific game...for the neutral!!!

Obviously I'm a little gutted, Kami scores the try instead of dropping the ball and we win it. But as it was that was an electric performance from Walsh, certainly a player who when he's on fire, as we saw, can blow you away, at the AAMI earlier in the season in the league game he was awful, mistake after mistake. But fair play to him, lifted (immensely) when he needed too.

We go again next year!

I actually thought Melbourne would continue grinding them down in the 2nd half but fair play to the Broncos. Some of the most powerful running and breaking tackles I've ever seen.

That dropped ball a massive turning point. Brilliant from Walsh (again) but you have to score that.

Thought Melbourne schooled them first half but they did enough to stay in it. Second half an entirely different story and a brilliant display by Brisbane, Walsh especially but also Haas (who has been brilliant throughout the finals) and Mam. Lost Reynolds and Hunt and still got it done.

Finally caught up with the final after driving all day yesterday. One of the best ever, and that’s saying something. Walsh deserves the headlines but for me, Mam is the one who makes the Broncos unplayable, fizzes over with energy and skill (despite being a bit of a liability off the field).

We score that try, we gain possession from the kick off we put the screws on them (the Storm way)...as it was that's where we lost it, but credit where it's due Walsh and Mamm were electric, Warbrick will be disappointed with his overall performance, but Mamm properly unsettled him and losing Howarth in the first 20(?) was a huge blow for us, he's a phenomenal game breaker.

We can bang on about those high shots all day but at the end of it all the Bronco's just wanted it more.

Loiero hit Pikaura due to his cheap shot on Papenheuyzen, not that it helped us much!

Anyway, all said and done you'll find me at AAMI park again next season cheering on the Storm!
