Carried on watching till the partnership was almost a ton then had granddaughter for a few hours.
Was pleasantly surprised to find our openers just beginning their innings when I resumed but also missed every wicket to fall. | |

same for me. I only saw the first session and a bit and Middlesex were well on top. Pleasant surprise this morning to see the scores. Looking forward to the first session today where hopefully we will get their lead to under 100.
We should be one of the strong favourites to go up this year and Jennings & Bohannen should be able to fill their boots with runs. Some of the underachievers last year just need to step up and hopefully we will strike lucky with our overseas players too |  | | |

Fine day’s cricket today, with the result still in the balance well into the last session. Have to say I am a fan of George Balderson. Was an opening batsman at one stage and that experience paid off today in the last 6 overs.
