Irrespective of today's result.. 07:21 - Apr 5 with 2091 viewsTalkingSutty

Today is going to be very emotional bearing in mind what we've all endured over the last few years in a collective effort to save the club. Simon Gauge, Richard Knight, Jamie Sarsfield etc, all pouring a awful lot of their own money into the club in a desperate effort to save it. Thanks to you all for doing that because without you stepping up we wouldn't now have a club.

David Clough the super fan who left his estate to the club and also to every supporter who purchased shares and those who contributed to the bucket collections and parted with money when they couldn't really afford to do. A brilliant effort from the fans. We've got some amazing supporters at this club.

The biggest thanks to the Ogden family, i really hope the club has got under their skin, especially the younger members of the family. They are now part of of the Dale family also and hopefully that will stay with them for life.

So a big crowd at the Dale today, the sun will be shining and its a time to look around and take a deep breath, maybe a sigh of relief for many i think. The good days are coming back again slowly but surely and if there is such a thing as the footballing gods then a trip to Wembley is the least we deserve because good always triumphs over evil in the end doesnt it? Good luck to the manager and the players today.

Think it only fair that the Etc’s are name checked
Jan Wormald, Guy Courtney and Tony Pockney.
All 6 stood up in our hour of greatest need

Pockney was found to be misleading the EFL over the Morton House stuff but I’ll leave it there as today is about enjoying the occasion. He only “stood up” due to a guilty conscience.

“He was deliberately misleading the EFL”

He was always full of his own impotence

Seeing Dale survive and have their days in the sun again must be hard on him

Poll: What are you planning to do v Newport

looks like he is already up to his tricks…….oldham rugby switching some games to Friday nights andconsidering a full scale switch next season, .in a league were players are part time and must get time off work to play. Got his fingerprints all over this.

Some of the season ticket holders apoplectic as are the out of town supporters.

Negotiating the M62 on Friday nights wont enamour them to away supporters either.

No doubt it will all end in (his) tears.

They cant say they weren’t warned.
